Programs: Since 1978, the executive service corps of chicago has provided quality consultation on over 3,000 projects for local nonprofits, schools, and government entities in four focus areas: management, governance, leadership and organizational transformation. This highly leveraged consultation strategy improves internal structures and builds capacity to meet new and emerging challenges in the nonprofit environment. During 2013, esc volunteers provided over 20,075 hours of service to nonprofits, schools and government entities.
As an ESC volunteer since 2004, I have personally seen the difference that this organization makes in building capacity for nonprofit organizations. And the volunteer experience that it provides is unparalleled in the professional interactions, extensive training and leadership opportunities it offers.
