Causes: Chambers of Commerce & Business Leagues
Mission: The executive women's golf association, a not-for-profit organization formed in 1991, has grown into a network of over 20,000 members in 123 chapters across the u. S. And canada. The ewga offers assistance to women golfers who want to learn how to play golf and use golf for networking purposes. Ewga provides opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and fitness.
Programs: In 2017 our members participated in 26 long courses, 9 short courses, 10 education events and a 6 week long summer league program as well as virtual league. In addition 24 members competed in a match play league. We had members compete in the national ewga semi finals and advance to the national final competition held in tennessee. We had teams competing in the ewga cup and the california cup competitions. As in prior years, we offered rules seminars and course etiquette classes for beginning golfers which fulfilled our primary goal of providing golfing opportunities and education for women golfers in san diego who want to learn the game and network with others who love the game of golf.
