ES helped us install solar panels on our affordable housing complex, Sulzbacher Village - they are amazing partners!
We’ve partnered with Everybody Solar on two projects in just the last three years to install critical solar infrastructure here in Glacier Park that saves taxpayer dollars, advances the sustainability goals of the park, and makes a difference in the experience of visitors to the park. These are projects that simply would not have happened without private philanthropy and Everybody Solar was critical to this success.
I am CEO for Buckhorn Children and Family Services. BCFS is a non-profit in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. We serve abused and neglected children as well as offering inpatient and outpatient addiction services.
Our project was for our residential women's recovery program facility. The project cut our electricity costs in half thus allowing us to better serve individuals in need of recovery.
Everybody Solar was great every step of the way. They communicated regularly and did everything they promised. Great people!
Paradise Energy Solutions is very grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Everybody Solar at the local YMCA Camp Cory project. The relationship built, coupled with the vast experiences, from Myriam, Youness and team at Everybody Solar, partnered with their fantastic pool of resources, is beyond admirable. The hard-work, and long-hours that they put forth to ensure that non-profits, like Camp Cory, can continue to thrive, while operating with renewable resources is purely remarkable. The team at Everybody Solar is a top-notch group, and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to partner with them.
We are Charging Buffalo Meat House,
Our projects goal is to bring back the buffalo to our people the Oglala Lakota tribe and everyone in our community for the spiritual and healthier diet. So with your help we now have the sun helping us to, Feels so special to have the whole universe helping to bring back the buffalo. Since the installation our electric bill has been way lower and it helps to not have the overhead electrical expenses when you're trying to help in a volunteered help situation. Now with the batteries wow amazing it was so neat to have "incase back up power" specially with all our freezers. It sure does help the people here to be able to bring the healthiest meats to the local community. Your help has impacted the local beef rancher, hunter, tribal buffalo herd operation, and the people not only on the reservation but the people around the reservation too. We believe in bringing back the fresh local meats and you have helped us big time for that we are grateful, Thank you Everybody Solar
I collaborated with Myriam, Director of Operations and Development at Everybody Solar, to help produce outreach materials that convey the organization's mission and impact. In the course of my interactions with Myriam -- who is a dream to work with -- I learned about the triple impact of this organization: on nonprofits, the communities they serve, and the environment. It's rare to see such a win-win-win scenario in the nonprofit sector, and the donors and sponsors that help Everybody Solar deliver on its mission play a vital role. I encourage everyone to learn more about Everybody Solar and get involved wherever possible.
I love donating to Everybody Solar and knowing that my money is going to fund solar panels for non-profits I care about. It’s so amazing that they let you choose which non-profit you want to donate the solar panels to so that you can help the environment and another cause you care about! Talking with their team through emails, they’ve always been super helpful and kind. This is, for very good reason, my favorite no -profit to donate to.
Everybody Solar is a fantastic organization with a simple but effective mission: help nonprofits build capacity and redirect valuable resources by transitioning them to solar energy to save on energy bills. Organizing installation of solar panels is a lot of work - between finding vendors, assessing sites, the installation itself, and then learning how to use the technology that measures energy use - and Everybody Solar takes care of ALL of that. That means that nonprofits don't have to use a ton of staff time and money transitioning to renewables, but still get all the benefits. The ES staff is so dedicated and hardworking and they are making a difference for all the nonprofits they work with - meaning they have an impact in all of those nonprofit sectors. Whether it's services for children, veterans, formerly incarcerated people, or for conservation efforts, Everybody Solar is supporting it all.
We worked with Everybody Solar on a collaborative solar project at a nonprofit in tiny town of Buckhorn, which is located in the rural coalfields of Eastern Kentucky. Without Everybody Solar, their contributions, participation and leadership role, this particular solar array would never have got off the ground. They definitely took the road less traveled to make this project become a reality!
Everybody Solar is a wonderful organization with a great mission. Their passion for conservation and for helping other nonprofits is evident in all that they do. Thanks to their efforts, the Creative Discovery Museum (in Chattanooga, TN) has been able to install a new solar array on our rooftop which will not only help us save thousands of dollars a year in energy costs but will also be a springboard for new education programs and exhibits on renewable energy. They have been a great partner – providing expertise, connecting us with new resources, and thinking creatively about how we can work together to extend the impact of the project both within the museum and beyond our walls.
Everybody Solar does great work that goes largely unnoticed and has been doing great things for the planet and for other nonprofits for more than 10 years. They deserve the support and gratitude of everyone so they can continue another 10 years!
Everybody Solar has a sound track record for 10+ years and it has SUCH a great, important, straightforward mission! & we LOVE the team! We are honored to call Everybody Solar our partner and we're here to help them always in their mission!!!
Collaborating with Everybody Solar has been a huge gift to our community in Boise, Idaho. Our local social enterprise, Empowered Solar, had done pro bono design for a photovoltaic system for Boise Bicycle Project’s (BBP) remodel, but in the end, the solar portion of the project didn’t make the final budget and was relegated indefinitely to the “nonprofit wish list.” Even a sustainability-oriented Community Benefit Organization (CBO) such as BBP—with a handful of office staff and decent revenue generated from memberships and bike sales—could not find a way to dedicate enough fundraising resources to a project of this size and cost. Empowered Solar was able to offer design and labor, but like BBP, we did not have the staff solely to raise the money for all the panels and equipment. In a last-ditch effort before shelving the project, I came across Everybody Solar in my search for a funder that would be our solar jackpot—and we won!
When I found Everybody Solar online and read that their mission is to fund solar projects for organizations like BBP, I was astounded! This model represents everything that is right in the CBO sector—multiple players coming together across sectors to contribute to a solution that is greater than the sum of its parts. Providing organizations with clean energy translates directly into economic security for their operation, more of their resources invested back in their communities, and environmental benefits for all.
We are so grateful to Everybody Solar for their grand vision and steadfast commitment. Working with Myriam throughout the entire process was a fantastic experience. She was extremely responsive, easy to work with while coordinating a lot of moving parts, and patient as we went through permitting, utilities, local government to complete the installation. This project came to fruition because of Everybody Solar and Boise will reap the benefits for years to come. The Everybody Solar team has inspired people in our city and beyond to invest in solar solutions and offers everyone a way to participate in building a better future. We’re honored to have had the pleasure of working with them on this project and excited to see their operation grow!
I worked with Everybody Solar to install solar arrays and educational exhibits in museums in Ithaca, NY and Eugene, OR. They are a wonderful organization with a passion for helping other non-profits have a bigger impact on their communities.
I originally got interested in Everybody Solar when I learned they had completed a solar project for the local science museum I take my children too in Ithaca, NY.
I have since gotten involved with Everybody Solar as a board member. I love the mission and I am pleased to be able to help them bring other projects to other worthy non-profits.
We are currently partnering with both the YMCA and a National Park, in addition to several smaller nonprofits. "Everybody" solar means both large nationwide organizations and small local agencies throughout the US.
My experience volunteering for Everybody Solar was fantastic. My project was based around developing a series of press releases. During that time I learned about their mission. How cool is it to use solar power to help other nonprofits? I hope that nonprofits in my home state (Washington) will work with them in the future.
Andy
It was great working with Everybody Solar. They helped us with the fundraising for the solar array we just installed at the Boise Bicycle project. As soon as were got in touch with them they were eager to help us tackle the most challenging portion of the project. We couldn't have completed our installation with out them.
Everybody Solar continues to be an excellent non-profit that deploys valuable solar energy projects to non-profits on time and above expectations, all while doing it on a shoe string budget for overhead costs. I've enjoyed playing a small part in the growth of this organization over the past few years and am looking forward to seeing more great solar projects deployed into the future!
Since their creation in 2011, I have been volunteering for Everybody Solar as a secretary, because of their great concept. They are doing a double impact on bettering our world by:
1) helping nonprofits go solar, thus enabling them to save money on their electricity bills. This saved money allows the nonprofits to dedicate more of their funds to help their communities.
2) by helping replace regular produced electricity by solar energy, Everybody Solar prevents the release of Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere, thus contributing in the fight against Global Warming.
I know first hand that Everybody Solar' staff is consecrating numerous unpaid hours to achieve their goals, and can only admire their dedication!
I was first attracted to Everybody Solar because of their double level of impact:
1) Enable nonprofits to invest more of their resources in their core efforts by reducing their energy costs
2) Reduce these costs by providing them with an environmentally sustainable energy source
What's kept me engaged is the diligence with which the Everybody Solar team vets potential nonprofits, coordinates the logistics, and raises the funds to make this vision a working reality. It is very impressive, and I look forward to being a part of its efforts to scale.
I did some volunteer copywriting for Everybody Solar - I really enjoyed my experience working with them. Myriam was my point of contact and she was professional, thorough, kind, and easy to work with. Everybody Solar's work is also creatively and effectively solving problems for other great organizations in a really powerful way. I would highly recommend working with them and helping their unique cause.
Everybody Solar has a great mission and even greater people behind it. I have been volunteering with them for the last few months and it has been a great experience. They are organized and very on top of their day-to-day. They are successfully helping a number of nonprofits save money by going solar and are constantly adding to that number by partnering with more nonprofits across the country. I truly believe they are helping build a better future.
Everybody Solar raised the funds to help put solar power on two buildings on Pine Ridge Reservation. Now they are working with us to put up a solar field that will provide power and lower electric bills for everybody on the Reservation. They are an amazing organization to work with and they accomplish results.
We have been working with Everybody Solar for several years. They have installed solar on both the Youth Center and The Buffalo House (A meat processing facility) on Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota . We are now working toward solar power for the entire Reservation. Pine Ridge is the poorest place in the US and the installation of solar power will allow the 40,000 people who live there to have affordable electricity and heat all year round where currently a large portion of the population spends some period of time during the winter without those necessary utilities.
Everybody solar is an amazing organization with fantastic people to work with. The goals of the organization benefit the recipients of solar power and also our environment.

I am the Director of a non-profit that works with the Lakota on Pine Ridge Reservation. We are working with Everybody Solar to install solar on both the Youth Center and the meat processing plant known as The Buffalo House. Both of these facilities were recently built with Lakota Labor and funds raised by One Spirit. Everybody Solar has been fantastic to work with to find funds and install solar on both buildings thus making these facilities much more energy efficient and financially feasible for the Tribe and the community to support going forward. Pine Ridge is the poorest place in the US but it is inhabited by people with great heart and determination. Everybody Solar has worked diligently to find funds and to work with the Lakota people to make solar possible. The installation of solar will serve as a model for all buildings to enhance efficiency and to protect the environment.
I can't begin to say enough good things about Everybody Solar people, their diligence, their ability to get things done, their determination to spread solar as far as possible and protect the earth. It is pure pleasure to work with them.
Outstanding. Youness and his staff work really hard finding eligible charities with buildings that could benefit from solar power, raising funds and then coordinating the install. Helping small charities get off the grid and promoting clean energy at the same time is a win-win. They keep costs low and everything is done with maximum transparency.

Everybody Solar has exceeded my expectations in every way. When founder Youness Scally first told me his idea for a solar power charity I wondered if he had any idea how much work it would be. I sure didn't, and I don't think he did either, but two years later he has taken Everybody Solar from a dream to a real living nonprofit, doing great things and well on the way to funding its first big solar installation. As a board member I have been impressed at every turn with the level of transparency and longterm thinking in the organization's decision making process, and at the passion of the volunteers for the group's mission to bring clean renewable energy independence to those who need it most. I expect to see big things from Everybody Solar for many many years to come.
Everybody Solar is responsive, organized, and driven by their mission to lower costs for non-profits by donating solar PV systems. It's great to see how communities support thier projects!
Everybody Solar has helped our Youth Center, which is located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, to acquire Solar Panels. These panels will cut down on our Electricity bills and allow our limited funding to go further. We have been greatly blessed. May God Bless Everybody Solar and help them to continue to positively affect Communities in need. Everybody Solar is awesome!!!!! Thank you. ALLEN YOUTH CENTER
We've worked with Everybody Solar for a number of years. They have a great mission and have made such a difference to us here at the Sciencenter - funding for solar panels and help with an exhibit on solar power.
When I got involved with Everybody Solar six years ago, I knew it would be a fulfilling experience, but I didn't realize just how rewarding it would be for me. We've brought solar energy to numerous nonprofits, from Homeboy Industries (which gets jobs for ex-cons and gives them a second chance) to the Committee on the Shelterless (which provides homes for our veterans). I'm looking forward to continuing to reduce the burden of energy expenses for nonprofits that are helping our communities become stronger.

I have worked alongside Youness and the rest of the Everybody Solar staff since the founding of this nonprofit, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the constant challenge to bring renewable energy to other nonprofits throughout California. By giving the gift of solar energy to these entities, they can devote even more of their precious resources to helping their local communities while simultaneously helping the environment. I look forward to helping many nonprofits to receive solar energy in the years to come!
The ES team is super responsive and passionate about helping other nonprofits. I love the work they do, and hope they can continue to grow and help the environment.
They have brought solar to so many incredible non-profits! They have excellent customer service and work so hard for such a small team.

Everybody Solar impresses me over and over again. The idea and organization is extremely innovative, practical, and exactly the kind of impact our community needs. I am so impressed with our staff, who are all volunteers. They are all extremely personable, dedicated, and talented making the mission of Everybody Solar possible and real. Bringing solar to community based organizations is a multi-facted approach to ending many of the ills that modern society faces. It is through the passion, creativity, and dedication of a team like Everybody Solar's that necessary change will come about our community.
I found Everybody Solar when I was looking for a way to help fight climate change. What I found was really a win-win organization. Everybody Solar helps other non-profits install solar energy; resulting in a reduced carbon footprint (for all of us) and savings for the non-profit to use to meet its mission. As I said, win-win.
The organization is very well run and almost entirely by volunteers, so its administrative overhead is extremely low. It partners with other organizations whenever possible to make sure that the solar installations are cost effective. I will keep donating to Everybody Solar and encourage others to do so as well.
Everybody Solar is doing an outstanding job both in going out of its way to help non-profits get energy efficient, and thus save precious dollars . This enables those non-profits to provide more services to their communities.
By the same process, Everybody Solar does its part in working toward saving nature from pollution by allowing non-profits to use clean energy.
Way to go Everybody Solar
What I really love about Everybody Solar is that it is a great group of people, and all of us are working together strictly as volunteers. We wouldn't be doing this if we didn't believe in it, and I know that my contributions make a difference. This is something that can directly impact my local community, and I truly believe that organizations like ours, which aim to grow solar power and make it even more affordable and available, will be the way to successfully build a clean-energy future.
Everybody Solar is an organization with dedicated leadership and a passionate team of volunteers. From its inception, I have seen Everybody Solar's commitment to its mission and long-term vision. I applaud its level of transparency and its continued involvement in the community. I look forward to seeing all the great things Everybody Solar will do in the years to come!
Most people have a desire to change the world for the better, but few people I know actually follow through with their ideas.
I've seen Everybody Solar take their noble goal (offset the cost of electricity to non-profit organizations by installing solar panels on their buildings) and put in the hard, humbling work to close in on delivering their first solar install. It's pretty awesome.
Knowing founder Youness for more than a decade, the way the Org is run proved to me what I knew all along; the team is plenty capable of delivering on their dream. Go Everybody Solar!
Everybody Solar has dedicated themselves to making connections at the intersection of sustainable energy and the nonprofit community. It's a wonderful marriage, and affords nonprofit organizations the opportunity to fulfill their roles as thought leaders, first movers, changers, and innovators.
Everybody Solar was founded on a simple idea, getting solar to non-profits that are already doing good for local communities. I am proud to be a supporter of this endeavor and look forward to seeing the positive outcomes Everybody Solar has as it helps these non-profits reduce their electricity costs.
I am a big fan of Everybody Solar and the work they do. They really are changing the noprofit model and helping worthwhile organizations eliminate (what in my opinion are) exorbitant electricity costs. The team is also sharp and passionate about their cause - a winning combination!
Everybody Solar is changing the way the solar and nonprofit industries work together. By making solar energy accessible to underfunded charitable organizations they help both disadvantaged US communities and the environment. A great organization that I highly recommend for both volunteering and donations.
