Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: The mission of pro is to provide a sustainable professional support system for riders of all levels, grooms, owners and event organizers through leadership, education and mentorship to advance the sport of eventing.
Programs: In 2014 the pro tour series encompassed thirteen competitions throughout the united states and canada. $10,500 in sponsorship was secured and distributed to competition organizers. $2,500 was distributed as part of year-end awards recognizing professional grooms. Pro provided marketing, media and organizational support to each event including educational course walks and special exhibitions customized for each event and color commentary for spectators. Pro also provided educational seminars for juniors as part of junior programs and professional mentorship education.
membership & professional development: the annual meeting coveredinternational eventing rules and athlete responsibility. Accident and disability insurance was reviewed. The pro junior programs and educational mentorship where reviewed. Pro also organized passage for five horses to fly round trip from pennsylvania to california for competition purposes in november 2014.
triple crown jyr pro scholarship program: this year round program offers mentorship to junior members of pro and includes the opportunity to compete for four scholarship awards. Two scholarship awards are given to juniors based on the west coast and two to juniors based on the east coast. The scholarship award consists of one week of training, room and board for the scholarship winner and their horse at the facility of a professional rider. Triple crown nutrition supports the scholarship program: pro tv was launched in the third quarter of 2014. Pro coordinated the production team for the purpose of filming the competitions and producing live stream content and video on demand. This allows for competition to reach a larger audience and gain more exposure both on a national and international level.
