Programs: There is one program service: a summer composition program at la schola cantorum in paris. This year was the 21st season in europe in july/august 2016. Eama had 43 students enrolled in the program. There were master classes, analysis seminars and coaching by faculty and guest artists. Eama held compositional workshops where new works wre performed and critiqued. Highlights included guest artists: violinist erik rohde, pianist matthew odell, and marimbist makoto nakura as well as pianist/musicologist roy howat. Sofia nyblom, radio host and music researcher for the swedish national radio, came to do a special profile on eama's program for swedish radio as part of a major documentary on nadia and lili boulanger. The eama summer music program was presented as the living legacy of nadia boulanger pedagogy in the radio program and blog: http://mysterietboulanger. Blogspot. Se/ the organization charges tuition as a normal part of its program services. As part of this process, all applicants are eligible to fill out a financial evaluation form to request aid from the organization of a tuition reduction. No actual amounts are paid to students. The directors consider the student's resources, talent, and their parent's occupations to determine if a tuition reduction can be granted. Students came from all over the usa eama and the national association for music educators awards prizes for composition for young composers which has been ongong since 2011.
