Causes: Environment, Land Resources Conservation
Mission: Land conservation and conservation education.
Programs: Completed 27 conservation projects that permanently protected 624 acres of land in 10 communities. We also managed the more than 200 greenbelt-owned reservations; completed dozens of property improvement projects, including building new trails and installing new signage; formally monitored 112 conservation easements on 3,612 acres. In addition we held over 40 events,including 17 monthly walks and other activities with a combined participation of approximately 4,000 people. We welcomed 249 new members and were assisted by more than 200 volunteers.
