Nonprofit Overview
Mission: 1. To foster closer relations between the escondido public library and the citizens of escondido. 2. To promote knowledge of the functions, resources, services and the needs to the library in regards to literacy services. 3. To lead in the development of the program for improvement of the literacy resources of all ages and levels when the state, community, and library indicates such a need. 4. To aid in the provision of the funds for special literacy projects when necessary. 5. To encourage gifts of books, manuscripts, or other resources to the library and literacy collections.
