Mission: To enhance and preserve the agricultural and historical legacy of new york state. Also to provide the residents of western new york with the educational resources and programs to expand their knowledge of agriculture in new york state.
Programs: Erie county fair - a 12 day event held in august, that encompasses every aspect of agricultural life including competitions, exhibits, shows, family entertainment . . . . Etc. All income from the fair is reinvested into the facility to enhance the agricultural education programs.
farm to table and little sprouts - continuing expansion of an educational program for first through fourth grade students and pre-school aged children who come to the facility to experience hands on education. The program is intended to educate the students on the impact of agriculture in everyday lives. This education program is conducted each spring and fall on the fairgrounds.
horse, cattle, hog and farm equipment shows - all held in the showplex and barn 11. These exhibits and events showcase agricultural life in erie county.
