I have had years of animal welfare and conservation experience- several of them with ERAF- and can unequivocally say that this facility is wonderful. The staff are fabulous and Denise, the president, has clearly devoted her life to the care, happiness and wellbeing of abandoned, abused and neglected horses. Five stars and I wish there were more.
People there so tirelessly devoted to the mission of the organization (equine welfare, not self aggrandizement).. Such a worthwhile charity and well worth support.
This horse rescue is a wonderful place. They all work so hard for the care and well being of the abused, neglected and discarded horses brought to them. Their mission is admirable. The facility is clean, the horses are well cared for and provided training with the goal of locating that special person to adopt and provide a forever home. I have been involved with this organization for 5 years and have greatly enjoyed my participation.
It's all about the horses! ERAF is made up of an amazing group of people dedicated to rescuing neglected & abused horses, rehabilitating and finding these wonderful animals loving forever homes. I became involved with ERAF in 2014 after attending a clinic and never left. It's been an amazing experience and I am grateful for the opportunity to do my small part in helping these magnificent animals.
I went to a charity event for ERAF and walked out with a rescue race horse. I became involved with ERAF in 2012 and joined the Board in 2014. I work with a fabulous group of Board of Directors, staff members and many volunteers who are very dedicated to rescuing these magnificent spirits, assisting in their daily rehab and helping to get them adopted out to their forever homes.
I have volunteered at ERAF since October 2010 and have been a Board Member since July 2012. ERAF has incredible, continuing support from the community, generous donors, loyal volunteers, terrific and dedicated staff, a re"Mark"able trainer, and a Board that is committed to our mission to rescue abused, abandoned and neglected horses; rehabilitate and retrain them; establish trust and then find them a forever home. It is all about the horses at ERAF.
