Pure dedication and excellent work shown by team members in helping Fijian out during this challenging times.
EqualMed is a non-profitable organisation founded by Miss Nivita Sharma has been donating medical supplies since 2013. The contribution made by the EqualMed and donors are colossal to the health system in Fiji as 29.9% of the population are living in poverty. This organisation performs its duty with prominent responsibility in guaranteeing that any funding received is used to help with addressing the necessities of people. A big Vinaka vakalevu (thank you) goes to the EqualMed and donors for assisting in the medical needs every year.
As a member of the general public, it’s commendable is see the amazing work that Equalmed is doing! The help with medical equipments and PPE's made an significant difference in the medical service provided to the people. We appreciate your hard work. Thank you!
I am proud to be supporting this non-profit for several years. EqualMed has a wide outreach improving access to quality healthcare for the people of Fiji. Over the past few years, EqualMed has supplied and equipped medical facilities in the farthest corners of Fiji. Fiji's Ministry of Health and dedicated volunteers facilitate transportation of urgently needed medical supplies and equipment not available in Fiji. EqualMed adopts good governance and demonstrates accountability and transparency by fully disclosing that 100% of donor funds are used only to procure and ship the medical supplies and equipment. See the annual reports and details at the website: equalmed.org.
As a rare and unique true non-profit that is run by a student and volunteers, there are no administrative costs.
The raging pandemic escalated the need for scarce PPE and respiratory medical supplies and equipment in Fiji. EqualMed was one of the few that responded to this need both in 2020 and 2021.
Please consider making a gift to this small yet critical and genuine non-profit knowing your support will be effectively utilized.

This charity is purely volunteer based and I am so thrilled to have contributed to its cause of bringing healthcare to the poor in the South Pacific. The charity was quick to update its donors on how the contributions were used though a dedicated page on its website about the project to which I contributed. Run by a college student, this charity utilizes 100% of donor funds for the beneficiaries. Has to be the best charity in effectively using donations and providing transparent accountability.
Amazing work done! The people of Fiji are thankful for all the donations you have made thus far. The medical equipments and PPE's received have helped improve medical service and standard to the people of Fiji. Keep up the good work!
Well ill distribute flyers and make advertisements for people to knw... it helps communities, schools, hospitals, and others etc ...
EqualMed has been doing tremendous work of donating items to Fiji since 2013. I am very privileged and honored to be part of this prestigious organization who have had a heart for Fiji, supplying medical needs to various locations throughout the hundreds of the Fiji Islands. I would like to thank the CEO and Founder, Ms Nivita Sharma for doing such a great work and also thank all the donors of EqualMed who contribute to make Project Fiji successful each year. EqualMed is a genuine organization, that works tirelessly to ship donated items and ensures that the donated items reaches the correct place and meets the needs of people. This NGO does its work with greater accountability ensuring each dollar received by a donor directly goes to assist in meeting the needs of the people.
I have donated to Equal Med from the very beginning. I have been impressed that all donations go to providing medical support. The young woman who started this charity is high school is not in medical school. She has grown the charity through the years while advancing her education. The charity serves a very under served sector.
As a high school teacher in Fiji, Equalmed donated Science apparatus and materials for effective learning to take place.
The assistance towards Fiji in this pandemic with PPE's is also commendable.
May the almighty shower its blessing upon this non-profit organization in abundance and enable them to keep going the extra mile in selflessly serving the needy.
Hearty appreciation and god bless.

The CEO of Equalmed is passionate and extremely dedicated in alleviating the lot of the less fortunate.Through her insight and diligence in reaching out I have come to learn of the dire and miserable situation of the poor people in Fiji who are denied basic medical care. Her mission is to enlarge, embrace and widen Equalmed’s sphere of caring and loving to as many people as possible. The beauty is that this organization runs on 100% volunteer involvement. The principal on many occasions has paid out of pocket to cover costs associated with this noble venture. Please give your support to enable this venture to continue unabated.
Equalmed is pretty much a one-human show. I applaud the founder of this initiative for their continuous efforts. While many people would like to help Covid-stricken countries such as Fiji, they are unable to do so due to a lack of collective access - Equalmed facilitates this very well and ensures that every donor dollar goes to people on the ground that need it the most.
I am honored to be able to help those in need in Fiji through Equalmed. I have the utmost respect for Nivita Sharma and her parents for their selfless devotion to Equalmed's mission. There is no charitable organization to which I have ever contributed that gives me as much pride as giving to Equalmed.
Equalmed has always been great about keeping donors informed of where their donations are going and how they are being utilized. I appreciate the transparency and plan to continue to support this great charity and their efforts.
This is a small but very effective non-profit. The founder, Nivi Sharma, had just completed her first year of medical school but still managed to double the size of the delivery of medical supplies to Fiji this summer compared to the prior year. As a nonprofit without a wide donor base, EqualMed has been very successful in sourcing medical supplies and managing delivery costs to successfully meet its mission goals. My personal estimate is all cash donations have gone to supporting the mission and the costs of administration are very near zero (e.g., certain unavoidable out-of pocket costs for required paperwork but no staff salaries or other compensation)

Equalmed is a fantastic charity. It is truly great to see such a positive direct impact on those in need of medical supplies. Your donation goes directly to those in need.
I do not donate money often, but this organization actually follows its mission. All donations have reached those intended with Ms. Sharma actually doing all the work from foundation administration to operations, personally delivering and making sure ALL medical supplies reached those individuals and medical facilities that lack proper medical supplies. I will continue to donate to this organization.
EqualMed is a non-profit organization that has provided enormous amounts of medical supplies to those in need in Fiji. It is a professional organization that uses the donations received to assist in supplying medical supplies to the Ministry of Health, hospitals, schools, and communities within Fiji. As a donor, I am proud to be associated with this non-profit. In June 2017 EqualMed was able to donate equipment and supplies worth $400,000, which has benefited the communities greatly. EqualMed is extremely reliable and has strong ties with the Fiji community, as it definitely delivers what is needed! I believe in the charitable work this organization is doing.
I cannot say enough good things about this nonprofit. The founder of this organization has a heart of gold. Her vision at such a young age and what she has accomplished through this nonprofit is amazing. The organization is operated with the utmost integrity, character, and consideration. The organization also operates with sound and dependable fiscal responsibility. You know where each dollar of your donation is being spent and can be assured is is being put to the good use you intended with your donation. Those involved with the organization have a passion to help others and they genuinely care for those that benefit from its mission.
The calling that Nivita Sharma has, and the task she has willingly taken on is beyond what one would expect of a 20 year old college student. When I heard the history behind the formation of EqualMed and was asked to donate for Project Fiji 2017, I did so immediately. The focus and purpose of EqualMed helps fill the medical needs of an underserved population. The ability to partner with various charitable, commercial and governmental entities to fulfill the delivery of medical supplies to numerous health facilities in Fiji exhibits a focus on finding paths to meet the goal of addressing access to quality healthcare. In following up on the outcome, it is clear that Project Fiji 2017 is a great success. Nivita and her supporters, especially her parents Divesh and Vineeta, should be proud of what has been accomplished in Project Fiji 2017.
Inspired by inadequate health care for her grandmother in her native homeland of Fiji, Nivita Sharma has made it her mission to distribute medical supplies throughout the small island country. Equalmed is an inspiring non-profit organization that demonstrates we can ALL make a difference if we will just put forth the effort. In today's world, it is rare to find a young person willing to selflessly give so much of themselves to benefit others, whom they have never met. Truly, Equalmed is a GREAT non-profit worthy of your time and investment.
I am so impressed with the organization and thoughtfulness of such a young person to help poor and needy people access medicine. The name, "equalmeds " is very suitable for the work of the charity organization. I am a proud donor towards this course. I encourage people to donate to this organization. I am hoping the work of this charity organization expands to other parts of the world.
