Mission: Equal Rights Advocates' mission is to protect and secure equal rights and economic opportunities for women and girls through impact litigation, public education and advocacy.
Programs: Equal Rights Advocates strategies are primarily impact and class-action litigation. We represent a diverse range of plaintiffs on cases involving sexual harassment, barriers to advancement such as the "maternal wall", the "glass ceiling", and the "wage gap". ERA also has an Advice & Counseling Program through which we provide free individualized advice and assistance to women facing sex discrimination.
