Mission: The environmental media association
Programs: The environmental media awards are presented each year to honor and recognize feature films, documentaries, television programs, musical artists, individuals and corporations and media productions that have used their medium to promote environmental education to the public. In addition, we also honor and promote green practices in physical production of films, tv, award shows and festivals. The "ema awards" are a major media and pr event in order to further the message of environmental awareness globally. The gala has approximately 800 attendees.
the environmental media association, la conservation corps and lausd have an ongoing partnership to support gardens and greenery in urban schools across los angeles. Ema directly supports over sixteen school gardens through funding and celebrity mentoring via our young hollywood board. This program is the beginning of an ambitious plan to sponsor and support garden programs in school districts throughout the country. Ema will be working with additional schools and sponsors as we continue to grow
public service announcements (psa's) are the most efficient way to use our celebrity relationships and board members to educate and motive the public on environmental issues and sustainable lifestyle choices through the immediacy of the web. We're able to virally spread our videos without distribution fees and then have our talent use social media to further reach their millions of followers to help understand the messages of our mission
