As an employee for a large convention-center hotel in Austin, Texas, I saw a great divide between management and staff. The tension was almost tangible and the morale was disturbingly low at the hotel. The low morale and poor communication was reflected by less than excellent customer service scores and poor associate satisfaction survey scores. I found the negative situation and lack of support so disturbing that I left the hotel. After a year away from the hotel, I was still disturbed by the poor working environment and it's impact on operations. I found ENGLISH AT WORK a couple of months ago and realized there is hope after all. ENGLISH AT WORK has provided other hotels and companies in the Austin area an invaluable service. Not only the employees benefit, but the customers and Austin market as a whole benefit. ENGLISH AT WORK provides invaluable mobile training, is convenient and flexible, and incredibly affordable. When you look at what this organization does for a company, their workers' potential and productivity, their workers' personal lives and families, and their customers you realize ENGLISH AT WORK is not just serving individuals or a business, but they are improving the community and market as a whole.
