Mission: Empower African Children believes in the transforming power of education. We see the promise and potential of orphans and vulnerable children in Africa. And we know what's possible when you believe in and invest in these children.
Programs: The spirit of uganda tour empowers ugandan children and educates american audiences through a performing arts program featuring children from uganda. The tour is conducted on a bi-annual basis during even years. During odd years children, ranging in age from 9-20, prepare for the upcoming tour in the succeeding even year.
the ugandan scholarship program provides talented orphaned and vulnerable children with an excellent education and holistic care that will enable them to develop into model citizens. The program provides their school fees, medical care, musical training, transportation, food, basic needs, tutoring, and counseling (54 children)
the us scholarship program provided uganda's most talented students an opportunity for higher education in the united states; all of them attended universities in the united states. The intent of the program is to invest deeply in these individuals so that they may grow personally and develop the job and life skills needed to contribute to the development of their own country (2 children)
