Mission: Employers health coalition, inc's mission is to create an environment for long-term continuous improvement in the cost-effective delivery of high quality healthcare services for the community.
Programs: The organization's focus is to improve community healthcare access and quality while containing costs in a preventative manner. In 2014, more than 40 health benefits education opportunities were provided for employers and other community stakeholders. These occurred through in-person meetings and webinar programs. Education opportunities included topics such as the affordable care act, corporate wellness programs, cancer care, specialty pharmacy and compound drugs, cultures of health and health transformation. In addition, employers participated in benchmarking surveys that included topics such as open enrollment best practices, benefits communication, private exchanges, telemedicine, onsite clinics, disability benefits, high-deductible health plans and tobacco use. The organization also provided more than 5,000 depression initiative posters, newsletter copy and education opportunities related to depression in the workplace.
