I have been volunteering with EMPART for almost a year and am thoroughly impressed with the organization. As a volunteer, I am to be serving the organization; however, I have been blessed by the experience in numerous ways. The work I do for them is both meaningful and challenging, and allows for both professional and spiritual growth.
Although I have volunteered with numerous other nonprofit organizations, EMPART is by far the most organized, efficient, and professional group with which I have worked. They communicate regularly and efficiently with volunteers, keeping us in the loop of the big picture of their work, not just the pieces of work we are doing. The staff is sincerely grateful for the work of the volunteers, and that gratitude is regularly expressed. They also demonstrate a great deal of respect for the volunteers.
It's a joy to know that my small contributions are contributing to such a wonderfully large effort!
Empart is such a wonderful group! The good work they are doing in South Asia is evident in the stories and testimonies you hear from the folks they serve. I have traveled through south Asia and cannot wait to go back to see the work of Empart first hand. They help so many in need.
Empart develops leaders from within the local communities with tools for them to transform every aspect of the lives of everyone within the community, and expand the benefit to other communities by these local leaders training others.
They work together on physical and environmental problems (clean water, healthy sanitation, health information) and far reaching social needs (education, care for orphans, parental training, restoration of families and mentally ill).
And in their partnering they know how to be effective and efficient with all their resources and develop long term relationships with people of over 20,000 South Asian communities with respect for each area's diverse and valuable culture and affirm the high value of every life in all ethnicities.
They have run into many bumps along the road, but they have learned so much along the way and have developed enough relationships over the past 20 years that their experiences both good and bad have refined their approaches. They are expanding their training of young local leaders at the corporate levels, which can be lacking in many multinational NPOs. I've been a supporter of many such ministries, but Empart has been the best I've seen at handling large expansion (from 2,000 communities to over 20,000 in ten years) and maintaining agility, cultural relevance and sensitivity as they have experienced such rapid growth .
In 2015, we had the privilege of visiting India for a week and experiencing the work of Empart first hand. We were absolutely amazed at the depth and breadth of Empart's impact on communities! We saw leaders gathering homeless men off the streets, offering to meet their basic needs in order to help them rehabilitate their lives. We spent time in a children's home, listening to young girls share their hopes and dreams of a bright future, months after being rescued from the darkened corners of a train station. We spent an afternoon in a village, and met leaders who were literally risking their lives to educate the "untouchables," just months after one of their leaders was murdered. Our lives will forever be marked by this visit, and the opportunity it has given us to partner with Empart to effect change in India.

Empart is truly a world apart from most nonprofits in transforming individual lives, communities and generations of people through foundational, relational investment. Through their focus on leadership, with sustainable development built on developing character, Empart has brought light and hope to more than 20,000 communities in South Asia. They not only have invested in the whole person, through providing clean water, sanitary toilets and in caring for tomorrow's generations - the children - generations will benefit from the loving care, training and provision from Empart. They are the real deal!
Empart is an amazing organization that is working is South Asia bringing sustainable solutions to impact the lives of many impoverished communities. Empart works hard at community transformation, and it is clear that virtually all of my donated dollars are benefiting the communities where they work.
Empart USA is one of the most remarkable non profits I have funded. They are going to some tough places in Asia and providing schooling and medical care to the disadvantaged. I like their emphasis on sustainability, training and serve holistically. There training and mentoring initiatives are world class.
Empart has played a huge role in bringing sustainable needs to children in Southeast Asia. Building wells and teaching character development to those who reach for a better future is a huge gift from a caring community of people.
I have made multiple trips to S. Asia with Empart and every time come away amazed at the impact they are having on entire communities. Empart is training indigenous leaders to take responsibility for holistic transformation in the communities where they and their families live. Empart's influence goes beyond the spiritual community to the marketplace and to local political leaders. I fully endorse the work Empart is doing and will continue to give generously to their efforts.
I was introduced to Empart a little over two years ago when I heard the founder speak about the vision to transform South East Asia by transforming 100,000 communities. The vision immediately gripped my heart and I decided to get involved.
I have now been to South Asia two times and have witnessed the work they are doing first hand: creating jobs for the oppressed, education for the poor, and many other human services such as care for the mentally ill and wells for communities without access to clean water. I have never before witnessed an organization committed as firmly as Empart to integrity and humility in leadership. They truly live out their values and empower those involved in their organization. By supporting Empart I not only feel that I have been able to make a difference in the world, but also I have received much joy and blessing.
The work that Empart USA is doing to transform communities in South Asia is unlike any I've seen at similar nonprofits. With a vision of transforming 100,000 communities by 2030, they are well on their way with over 22,000 communities already impacted. I especially appreciate the work they are doing to provide sustainable solutions (drilling wells, building sanitation systems, caring for children and the elderly) to impoverished areas that need it most.
