ENF is one of the most thoughtful and considerate non profits I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Richard and the team (Rosie!) sacrifice everything for the comfort and joy of these kids and their families and we at Corrao Group are honored to work with them and support them in every cause!

I have been fortunate to have been introduced to Emilio Nares Foundation through a mutual family member over 15 years ago. Their organization has provided countless families the support required during very difficult times. The compassion and dedication they have is inspirational for all.

I have had the privileged of serving as a Board Member for the Emilio Nares Foundation for just over a year now. ENF is doing amazing work under the leadership of Karen Terra and Katie Khasim. The core mission is achieved everyday by ensuring families are supported through their child's journey with cancer.

I was able to be a part of Cape Day where the children at the hospital were able to design capes to demonstrate they are heroes and beating cancer! ENF pays attention to every detail of the families lives and make every effort to ease their pain.

Thank you to the entire ENF team for all your hard work in supporting the families we serve.

I am very proud to serve on the Board of Directors for the Emilio Nares Foundation. I worked at the hospital they served for nine years and personally witnessed the positive impacts of their services on families with children going through cancer treatments. ENF is continuously going above and beyond to make the lives of families easier.

My experience to date with ENF has been amazing. Meeting the kids and parents of kids that we help while battling some of life's most difficult challenges has been the most amazing part. Seeing their strength and hearing their stories makes it the most rewarding time I donate throughout the year and it isn't even close. The program/foundation are amazing and I can't imagine not being a part of it.

The Emilio Nares Foundation has been serving the families of Rady's Children's Hospital in San Diego for a long time. Unfortunately, the need to support families during the journey with their child's cancer is not something regional and as they grow to support the families of Riverside County, Orange County, and now LA County; the same group of loving staff needs more resources to provide the essential transportation services that help these families fight the battle.

The Foundation needs your support to n serve this mission.

I have been working with the ENF board since the spring of 2018. Although the cause is as vital and appealing as it has ever been, the organization continues to improve the operations, partnerships, and services needed to serve the families stricken by this disease.

I am proud to represent ENF in the Orange County area and to spread the word more broadly to raise awareness of the need and to help find additional support to deliver to the mission of the Emilio Nares Foundation.

I’ve personally witnessed the incredible work ENF does for kids, their families and everyone else involved in any child’s journey once diagnosed with cancer. Wonderful organization and a remarkable story of how it takes a village to help a child along.

I have known the Co-Founders, Diane and Richard Nares, for over 30 years and it was my honor to know and love their son, Emilio. Their long and courageous fight for Emilio ended tragically, yet they have spent years giving his life dignity and purpose by founding ENF. Emilio’s name is spoken hundreds of times a day and his beautiful legacy lives on in the Emilio Nares Foundation. ENF has a unique awareness of the extensive needs of families and is committed to providing many supportive services to help navigate their entire journey. When families are at the end of their noble battle and face the most vulnerable time, ENF provides a Bereavement services. Our flagship program, "A Ride with Emilio,” guarantees NO child will be forced to miss treatment because of transportation needs in San Diego County and has been recently expanded to service Los Angeles, Riverside and Imperial counties. I am honored to be a part of this Board of Directors that is committed and focused with hundreds of volunteers working selflessly to help families in need.

As an ENF Board Member for the past two years, I have increasingly become more passionate about what this foundation does to help children with cancer and their families navigate the often unknown and uncharted roads of their cancer journey. The Co-Founders, Richard & Diane Nares, the ENF Executive Director, Karen Terra and her staff, and the ENF Board are dedicated to helping all children and their families - especially the underserved - on their cancer journey - for however long that journey lasts.

The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF) navigates families through their child's journey with cancer. While the organization is most known for their transportation services that provide free rides to and from hospital appointments, check-ups, and doctor's meetings, ENF's support of these families goes way beyond that.

ENF is there for these families through their entire journey. The day they get that dreadful diagnosis, ENF is there to help translate medical records and serves as a column of support for the families to lean on. ENF provides snack bags so the kids can get a nutrition meal after 24 hours of fasting before a treatment. ENF is there to help with unexpected changes in the familes life -providing rent money when the family can no longer afford it, furniture when the family is without, and bereavement services if the child's journey ends tragically.

ENF is an foundation of hope for over 200 families who would otherwise be without.

The Emilio Nares Foundation makes a real difference in the lives of the children it serves. Through its flagship program, Ride With Emilio, it helps ensure that no child misses their cancer treatment due to lack of transportation. Its Loving Tabs shirts make cancer treatment more comfortable. And the various other support programs help families feel less alone through their child's treatment.

The care and compassion with which the staff treats the patients and their families is extraordinary. ENF delivers on its promise to get patients to and from their treatments on-time every time, so that no child misses an appointment due to lack of transportation. The staff go above and beyond to serve the patients and their families to ease the tremendous burden, pressure and stress resulting from having a child with cancer or hematology disorders.

I have experienced Cancer in my family thus I know the pain and suffering it causes to the person affected and the entire family.
Having seen what the ENF is doing especially helping the most vulnerable CHILDREN gave me a smile in my face and warmth feeling that there are still people who cares.

Knowing founders Richard and Diane Nares since I was a child through a friendship with their nephew, I always grew up closely with them and ENF. We would help set up their annual fundraisers in any way they needed it. Since then a lot of things have changed, but their vision has stayed the same - to ensure no child misses a cancer treatment due to lack of transportation. Not only is ENF an extraordinary non-profit, but their remarkable team of passionate leaders is also what they're all about. Everyone involved is determined to do what they do best, going above and beyond to do so for the families they do it for. To be in everyone's presence is a blessing and a great learning experience.

Emilio Nares Foundation has been one of the best Nonprofits I have had the opportunity to work with. Their goals in providing selfless acts to a community of needy families has impressed me. Their acts have inspired me to be more proactive not only in my community but also in other communities that may be lacking resources.

I look forward to continue working with Emilio Nares Foundation. I wish them bigger success than they have ever dreamed of.

I originally came to ENF to host a fundraising event on their behalf. After learning about the critical work they do, I was asked to join the Board and have been helping to develop their programs for the past 4 years.
