Mission: The ems fund's purpose is to enhance the effectiveness of organizations that provide volunteer emergency medical services to the general public in the communities in which they operate by providing financial support or equipment to them so that these organizations can provide the highest quality emergency medical services possible.
Programs: Grant awarded to the deerfield valley rescue inc a partially volunteer ambulance service covering 230 square miles of southern vermont. Grand funds will be used to build a new community training room in their newly acquired headquarters.

Grand funds went towards the purchase of a high end state of the art monitor/defibrillator as well as an advanced automated cpr device. Together this equipment means dvr is able to provide the highest level of pre-hospital care possible to the communities they serve.
