Mission: Supporting our neighbors in need by providing food and other basic necessities while leading a collaborative community effort to access resources that promote healthy lives.
Target demographics: Supporting our neighbors in need with access to food and hygiene.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 7,600 People in 2962 Households including 2,264 Seniors and 2,220 Children
Geographic areas served: Located in Northern Summit County, Ohio, we serve 7 zip codes , including 44067, 44056, 44087, 44202, 44286, 44264, and 44236.
Programs: We are a food pantry that serves Northern Summit County, Ohio. We assist with food and personal hygiene items on a monthly basis. TEAC has expanded to include seasonal support programs including: extra food for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter holiday meals; and Easter baskets. In addition, we have onsite services from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, where appointments are open to all Summit County residents, not just TEAC clients. ODJFS case managers can help apply for Medicaid and SNAP benefits, and are available on most Wednesdays & Thursdays.
