Ella O. Foundation Inc. was a godsend for our business during Covid 19, by provided our company with Guidance and resources, we were able to adjust to working remotely but also provided the resources and knowledge that helped keep our business activite and open.
Right when COVID-19 began I was having a really bad rough patch and got recommended to the Ella O Foundation, and I can say without a doubt one of the best things to happen to me. I was really able to find the help I needed and the best part was being able to do that with people who I honestly felt like cared about me, and what I was going through, it really meant the world to me and I would love to repay that kindness back one day.
The most thoughtful and kindhearted people. So happy to be able to work and help others a long side the Ella O foundation and they live by what they stand for.

A friend of mine actually recommended this place to me last year. I struggled with school and she told me about this place. We went one day after school and I've been going almost three days a week ever since. The people there take an actual liking to you and want you to succeed in life. "Be all you can be" is what I'm taught every time I go there. They gave me hope to be better.
April of this year, my family and I suffered a huge loss. A pipe burst and flooded our apartment. I'm a single mother of three and didn't have the money to move or get anything fixed. I couldn't get help from anyone until I came upon Ella O Foundation online. I had little to no hope left after being turned away from other organizations that claimed to be of help in these situations. I spoke to Yvette and she was so understanding and caring. I got money to move into a new place because of her and the Ella O Foundation. I'm so blessed for these people and all they did for me and my family. Thank you so much.
This last past year has not been the best for me, Ive been through so much and would have no clue where I would be right now if it wasn't for ella o. They helped me so much and were able to help me come from a horrible situation and I am forever grateful and hope that other people find them and have the same great experience that I have had.

The people at Ella O. Foundation really helped my family and I when we were in a tough situation. They were knowledgeable and very welcoming.
Dealing with a tragic situation is never easy! At a time when my family had no where to turn. Ella O was there. From day to day, we didn't know where we would be sleeping that night, everyones seen the horrible footage of disaster victims, you just never imagine it will be you some day. With 3 children under 5 and my elderly mother in law, Ella O made sure our placement was top priority. They worked with us day after day in the claims process and made sure we had stable housing and support throughout. I didn't know at the time that the daily spiritual counseling and therapy they offered would change me in that I know take time everyday just to reflect on the blessings. I still use the same literature provided by my counselor Tia and even now she makes time for me weekly to allow me to take that time extra for myself and give my gratitude to me. I haven't made it to a yoga studio yet, but I must say I am a pro at meditation, it is my gift to myself, and the viral sessions feel as if I'm there with the staff. I hope I never have to endure something as a hurricane again , we lost all we had materially in the world, but I as a over stresses wife mother and daughter gained so much. You know my story I came from a very large well know organization in which I never after 6 years had contact with the clients. Since I’ve been at EOF I work daily with clients and it’s one of the most fufilling things I’ve done up until this stage of my life. We’re in he process of expanding in order to employment our choice programs to other organizations. As a small charity we have leveled out with some of the top players, from someone who’s seen both sides, I couldn’t be happier with my current team.
I recently had the opportunity to work with the staff at Ella O's on an emergency project. Since moving to the Atlanta area, I have worked with several charities as I did back home in Tennessee. The staff embraced me immediately and I worked with the foundation as if I had been there for years. The experience was so rewarding, I'm now a full-time volunteer. I love to tell this story because I too feel as if the organization serviced me in that I was home sick and yearning for my friends and family back home. Since being apart of the Ella O family, I've abandoned some of that grief in an attempt to assist a great charity help the community. I meed people from all walks of life and really have the satisfaction of helping others through the many programs and services offered. It's not your run of the mill pyramid with the relief efforts, I've worked side by side with the Director shifting through garbage to salvage a families keepsakes destroyed from the hurricane. It's the charities like Ella O. Foundation that make the difference in peoples lives, I'm just thankful to be apart of it all.
