As a friend, volunteer, and now a board member, I have seen Dr Elk in action caring for the military community for many years. She has the ability to reach those struggling with PTSD issues through non-conventional methods in only 2-4 sessions and actually heal them completely and permanently. I have seen so many lives changed and people returning to “ normal” daily life and families restored because of her work. Her specialty is in the SOF groups but works all over the country as the need arises. She is a gifted woman and has a heart of gold. She works by herself in a small office with just a few volunteers to help out administratively and will answer her cell phone when you call her 24/7 for help. Please donate if you are able to this wonderful organization that is small in size but makes a tremendous impact on the mental health of our warriors.

The Elk Institute has changed my family's life. I have witnessed the positive impact Dr. Elk has on her patients and have seen firsthand how fast her treatments can work. She not only treats veterans but also supports their spouses and families. I have attended a military spouse retreat with her and it was completely healing for me. I could not recommend her enough for anyone struggling with PTSD, she could save your life.

Dr. Elk has a passion for helping military personnel and veterans dealing with PTSD and has helped countless men and women deal with psychological trauma - at no cost to our heroes who have given so much for our country. I have seen firsthand the positive impact her treatment can have for veterans and families and I have no doubt that her support has helped save countless lives. I especially like the fact that she uses a non-pharmaceutical approach to treatment, a very effective alternative to many military and VA programs. I have donated to the Institute for several years and will continue to support this wonderful organization.

I certainly give Elk Institute for Psychological Health & Performance the highest rating possible. The services Dr. Elk provides are remarkable. These services benefit more than the one receiving them. They positively effect all that touch his/her life. The dedication to reaching out to help those in need of these services is seldom recognized. This organization is wonderful and Dr. Carrie Elk a leader with a true vision.

A truly awesome non-profit that helps Veterans manage and move on with their lives after trama. I’ve personally witnessed life changing results for those that sought treatment, most of those had already tried numerous other avenues with little to no results. After seeing Dr Elk, they were amble to sleep and live fairly normal lives without medication or any other “assistance”. I can’t say enough positive things about this fantastic nonprofit.

I was introduced to The Elk Institute through another Non-Profit and found the program to be exactly what our Vets require. I spent 33yrs in the military with over 5yrs in combat and hostile fire zones and have had numerous service members affected with psychological issues, some resulting in suicide. Dr. Carrie Elk is saving lives with her program and providing her the necessary funding to continue to work with veterans, police, fire and others is essential to their well being. She IS having positive effects that will last a LONG life time, she fixes the problem and not the symptoms. She is a true hero to many that have re-walked the battles with her and come out a new warrior with a positive look on life. Thank you Carrie for your Service to those in need.
