My daughter was able to participate in the program in 2017. We had participated in a girls empowerment group before but was fortunate enough to be referred to EWOE. This program far exceeded our expectations. The workshops and activities are worthwhile and meaningful for what kids are experiencing today. EWOE helps girls to develop a great outlook and vision for what their future might look like. For many girls, including my own this positive experience will definitely help to shape who she will become. These girls end the program more with more insight, more polished, more encouraged and end up being beacons of light for other girls their age to follow. The girls develop lasting relationships with the diverse group of EWOE and with the wonderful leaders. I cannot think of a better organization for girls than this group and look forward to my other 2 daughters participating in the years to come!
As a volunteer with this organization I see the impact it has on the lives of young women. The leadership of EWOE has a heart for teenage girls that is evident in everything they do. They believe that teaching teens to make educated and wise choices can change the trajectory of their lives!
I was a participant in the program in 2003. The program influenced me on such a profound way that I have been a volunteer with them since 2005. They are a great influence on teenage girls. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to participate!
My family’s experience with EWOE throughout these past three years has been wonderful! This program has been one of the stepping stones in my daughter’s life that has helped mature her into a more confident and responsible young lady. I am so thankful to Mrs. Lisa and her team for ALL that they do. Through this program these girls establish life-goals, friendships, and self-love. The Mother/Daughter Retreat is one activity I enjoyed during this program. It was an eye-opening and bonding experience for me and my daughter. But my absolute favorite event was the Cotillion! This is a great experience for the entire family but most of all for the escorts. This occasion allows the daughters and escorts to be the highlight of the evening. I would highly recommend this program to adolescent girls.
EWOE is a wonderful organization that encourages & mentors girls to be all they can be. My daughter was a part of the Jr. Elite Program and has since graduated from college. I highly recommend this organization. The principles they teach are admirable and the staff is dedicated and committed to the growth and development of each girl. Thanks for all you do!
I have worked with EWOE for the last 12 years as a facilitator and coordinator and have had a front seat in witnessing transformational change in girls of middle school and high school age. Girls ask questions about making appropriate life choices, some of which they are shy or embarrassed to ask their parents. I've had the opportunity to continue to mentor them even after the program and watch them grow into responsible and ambitious young women.
It's been my pleasure and privilege to work with this organization for more than a decade. Elite Women of Excellence is an outstanding resource for adolescent girls and their families. They are known for their love and network of support and affirmation.
"Thank you" seems inadequate when I reflect on the passion with which EWOE staff and partners present alternatives to some of life's toughest choices the young women of EWOE will face. More times than not, the young ladies have heard the same information from their parents, family, or friends. Some graduates may even falter after completing the program; however, I am certain that the friendships developed and the tools learned are consistent reminders and reinforcement for the participants as they make their contributions to society. I am appreciative of the partnership formed with parents to aid in the successful transition into Womanhood. YOU'RE THE BEST! Parent of Jr./Sr. EWOE Participant 2009-2011
I am so thankful for EWOE for the Mother Daughter Retreat and the Love Language workshop. They have given my daughter and I several opportunities to make our bond closer and she and I have been able to continue building on our relationship. I love EWOE so much that I have now become a volunteer and I absolutely LOVE what EWOE does to help girls in the community.
My daughter has been involved in many organizations throughout the years. This is the ABSOLUTE BEST organization of all that she could have been apart of. The women involved with EWOE pour so much into the lives of young ladies. I cannot wait for my other two daughters to join. They touch every subject that young ladies will face from boys to college preparedness. I Love EWOE!
Below are excerpts of what I shared when our daughter completed the EWOE Program in 2016:
Our daughter participated in the Elite Women of Excellence (EWOE) leadership, and mentoring program for four years. The EWOE Program is a catalyst for transformation in the lives of young women encouraging a holistic vision for success.
What a priceless Gem!
Examples of pearls of wisdom shared during the EWOE Program from various facilitators:
FOCUS - Finish Our Commitment Unapologetically Stronger, reminding us that "It Ain't That Serious" and to "take a knee" - Be Still - before The Lord,
Fear can keep us from hearing the word of God
Fear is a choice that is debilitating - by listening to the voice/words of our Father we can overcome fear and be victorious.
Self-worth and beauty can be echoed from moms to our daughters-so what"s your beauty legacy?
WORDS- 4 Agreements we make with ourselves:
Be Impeccable with your Words,
Personal (don't take anything personally - it frees me),
Don't Make Assumptions - find the Courage to ask the question)
Best - always do your best --Honoring God with the gifts and talents that He has given you.
Mere words, simply cannot express our sincere and heart felt appreciation to the EWOE Family for your time, efforts, energy, and commitment modeled throughout our four years with this Program!
Fast forward Three years later to today, Saturday, April 20, 2019 and our daughter will soon complete her Sophomore year at Kennesaw State University (KSU) - where she is flourishing!
I believe that that foundation and seeds that were sown into her are producing good fruit. So today, I still say: Thank you EWOE for continuing to deposit and pour into the hearts and minds of young ladies, helping to shape and nurture them with Godly wisdom and practical leadership skills.
I pray that God will give each of you and EWOE a great return on your investment . We anxiously await to see how The Lord will water and nurture the seeds that have been sown.
Matthew 13:1-9. My prayer is that the seeds sown into the lives of these young ladies all fall upon good soil(within their hearts) that it will take root(grow deep roots) and produce a great and mighty harvest, because they Listen - hear the Word and put it into Action for God's Glory.
Blessings to all,
EWOE Alumni Mom
My daughter started with EWOE in the 6th grade as a Junior Elite. The women behind this organization are very genuine about their mission of helping to enrich the lives of these young ladies through teaching self worth, self defense, education, spiritual growth and etc. we will continue the program as my daughter enters high school.
The time I had with Elite Women of Excellence was indeed both elite and excellent. The thought and work that went into preparing a memorable weekend for the mothers and daughters was seen and felt. The women who run the organization clearly have a heart and passion for investing wisdom, knowledge and resources into those mentored in the program. It was a joy to meet the director, mothers, daughters and Significant Life Weekend presenters.

2019 Daughter / Mother Retreat was AWESOME this event was what me a my daughter needed to do some bond on a whole new level from the session that was bible based principle food and games to engage us we will never for get the #siglife
This was my daughter and I first time experience with EWOE and attending the mother/daughter retreat and I really enjoyed the retreat. The information was great and the speakers were wonderful, I really appreciated the transparency and the stories that were shared because alot times you can feel you are the only person with concerns. The workshops and activities sponsored by EWOE have been very helpful and have provided insight for raising a teenager. I also appreciate the spiritual experience during each meeting. I am also thankful for my co-worker telling me about EWOE.
Elite Women of Excellence has transformed my relationship with both my daughters. We’ve had the privilege to be a part of the Cotillion Program & the Mother daughter retreat. Talia, Tatiana and myself are forever grateful for the love, workshops, purity talks, self esteem, career match, and prayers this program has provided for our family!!
I have been honored to have two of my daughters to be a part of the Elite Women of Excellence (EWOE) organization. EWOE teaches young ladies how to value their purity, build their self esteem, give back to their community and so much.
EWOE, has been great to both my daugther Jordyn and myself. She respects and values these women when I can not always be there. Making life decisions can be harsh coming from a mother's love. "A mother's love is the first we know but never out grow". She and I will be moving out of the Atlanta area, and I pray there is an exact replica in the city we're moving to. This has been the best time getting to know and understand my teenage daughter. Delise thank you for the introduction we love you.
EWOE has taught me values that stick with me to this day on celibacy and valuing myself as a young woman in this generation. These days everything in society is over sexualized and keeping yourself as a young lady is no longer popular, EWOE taught me the importance of it though even if its not popular. They also incorporate financial literacy advice which has been helpful since i graduated undergrad.
Lisa Smith and the volunteers of EWOE have been a blessing to the young ladies in my school. EWOE brings to the table relevant life skills young ladies can use during and beyond high school. I have enjoyed observing the transformation my students made--the more sessions under their belts, the more maturity. Additionally, I would have to say it has been a learning experience for me as well! I am looking forward to our third year partnering with Elite Women of Excellence!
I am an alumna of Elite Women of Excellence. EWOE helped to shape me into the woman I am today. The program instilled in me values that I still carry with me. I think it is very important for young ladies to have great mentors, and Mrs. Lisa and Mrs. Delise did a great job at making sure we were guided in the right direction as far as making healthy relationship choices, and other dealing with other issues that young women face. EWOE is a program that I recommend to anyone with a young daughter.
Elite Women of Excellence is an amazing program that allows us to pour into our young ladies. There is such a struggle for the attention of our youth and through this program ( as a parent and volunteer) the workshops are geared towards them and only them. Each session has various topics that help prepare them in life making decisions. EWOE has been a blessing to me and my step daughter!
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious: Extraordinarily good and wonderfu! For the short time that I have worked with EWOE, I have found the leadership team to be extremely focused and devoted to making a difference in the lives of young girls. EWOE's mentoring and empowerment programs are demonstrated by living examples. One of the program's core strengths is teaching young girls how to overcome barriers and obstacles through confidence, determination, commitment, and focused discipline.
Elite Women of Excellence is an amazing organization for young ladies to grow spiritually and develop into confident young women. I went through the program when I was 14 years old and have been apart of the EWOE family ever since! I love that the organization encourages past program participants to come back and mentor the young girls as they enter high school and college.
