Causes: Citizen Participation
Mission: The conscious elders network is a movement of vital elders, dedicated to growing in consciousness while actively addressing our nations critical issues: social and economic justice, environmental stewardship, sustainable, regenerative living, and restoration of democracy.
Programs: Within our activism branch our climate action team met with all 535 members of congress or their staffs in washington dc to advocate for climate change legislation and regulation. Our social justice team focused on the truth and reconciliation process needed to address the plight of native americans.
our education branch launched a monthly series of community conversations via on-line webinar technology. The branch also began offering the on-line introductory course presenting the foundation of our organization, the first entry into our core curriculum.
our community building branch launched two elder circles in northern california and colorado plus four climate action chapters in az, ca, ma, and md. Our outreach added 970 elders to our membership.
