An excellent organization. Provides training to those interested in having their animals provide animal assisted activities or animal assisted therapy. Also help elders and those in financial need keep their pets, their valued companions, in their homes and well cared for. A caring, compassionate group with both an animal and people focus.

Programs: Pet food purchase - we receive donations of pet food and gift cards for purchase of pet food mostly during the holidays but it is not enough to meet our year-round needs. We purchase what is needed. We provide and deliver pet food to 41 families. Veterinary care/medication - we often provide the cost of long term medications or prescription diets for pets with chronic diseases No-interest loans for unexpected veterinary care. Bad debt - often no-interest loans are not paid back. We periodically write them off as "bad debt" where we essentially paid for veterinary services. pet partners - we provide pet partner handler training and team evaluation and do charge for it to cover expenses.
