Mission: El Pueblo, Inc is a North Carolina non-profit dedicated to Latinos' and Latinas' achieving positive social change through building consciousness, capacity, and community action. We envision a just and equal community, where all are respected, valued, and engaged.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 69,840 community members to learn about community health and safety; 5,265 community members to take action for themselves and their communities; and 224 youth and adult leaders to become effective agents of change in their communities
Geographic areas served: Wake County
Programs: 1. Consciousness-Raising: Through La Fiesta del Pueblo and other events, El Pueblo educates thousands of Latino/a community members about health issues, domestic violence, and where to access services. 2. Capacity-Building: El Pueblo's programs for leadership development in Wake County include: • Líderes de Salud: develops and supports the leadership of adult lay health advisors to orient community members, refer them to services, and advocate for accessible health care. • Derechos Sin Fronteras: develops and supports the leadership of Latino/a youth to take action on issues relating to sexual and reproductive health. • Pueblo Power Program: develops and supports the leadership of Latino/a youth to organize for change. 3. Community Action: As youth and adults develop their own skills and leadership, they take action on issues, such as access to higher education for all students regardless of immigration status, access to reproductive health services, and immigration reform.
