Causes: Health, Home Health Care
Mission: Ehs home health care service, inc. 's (ehshhc) mission is to provide quality medical home health services and education to various communities in the chicagoland area regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age or ability to pay.
Programs: In keeping with its commitment to serve all members of its community, ehshhc, inc. Provides the following services where there is a need, regardless of the patients' ability to pay: - free care and/or subsidized care - care to persons covered by government programs at below cost - health activities and programs to support the community such as nutritional counseling and maternal child programs. Ehshhc made 399,671 home care visits during 2016. These visits consisted of 202,649 nursing visits, 149,517 physical therapy visits, 33,123 occupational therapy visits, 7,634 home health aid visits, 4,377 speech therapy visits, and 2,371 medical social worker visits.
