Dear Kline Organization,

Your incredibly kind support during the scorching Las Vegas Valley months of July and August was truly a lifesaver. Your help with my electric bill kept my home cool and allowed me to focus on finding a job and attending my veterans' medical appointments. I'm immensely grateful for your generosity and commitment to assisting veterans like me during challenging times.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Jeffrey Novack

Hard times struck after losing my job and I found myself falling behind on my mortgage. Inflation also wreaking havoc I began fearing the worst and reached out to the Kline Veterans Fund for assistance. They really came through by paying $1,900 to catch me up on our mortgage, buying me the exact amount of time necessary to avoid a financial apocalypse. I am so very grateful to the KVF and pray for blessings to you all. Thank you and God bless!!!

The Kline Veterans Fund is a wonderful organization that helps veterans when they need it most. They work hard to make sure veterans don’t end up homeless by stepping in when a veteran is at risk of eviction, behind on utilities, or in need of security deposits. Their dedication to helping veterans is truly amazing, making them a vital part of our community.

At 61 years old, I never thought I would be homeless and living in my car. Thank god I was referred to Kline’s by United way and they helped me with a deposit so I can have a real home. So many other agencies gave me the runaround but these folks really came through.

Kline Veterans Fund is an incredible community resource for veterans who need immediate help with housing. Homelessness is increasing due to high rents and I believe that no one who served should be sleeping in the streets. Please get involved if you can and help our vets get the help they need.

I'm a United States Army Veteran. Recently, I became unemployed due to the company's merger with another company. I've been looking for work for a while now and found myself on the verge of being evicted and homeless. Mr. Doug Williams told me about the Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund, and I applied. This morning, I found out I was approved. If the Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund hadn't helped me, I would've been evicted and homeless. I'm more than THANKFUL!! The process to apply was easy and their communication is top notch. They truly care if Veterans are housed and off the streets.

As a substitute teacher and Air Force vet, we go months without pay as we do not have the luxury of pulling from Unemployment benefits. This makes the summer months a struggle. I didn't know what I would do about paying for utilities. My sister urged me to contact Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund. I did and they replied within 24 hours. Within a couple of days they were able to help me. Saving me from having my utilities shut off. I would have had no way to turn them back on. I am truly grateful for the help that they have given me!

This Organization has done more than donate funds to us for housing. They saved our lives in some of the hardest of times. When it was looking like we were going to be out in the summer heat without a home, God blessed them to bless and save us. I will be donating back to this organization for the help they have done. What a blessing and my heart goes out to all of you, thank you

I’m a US Airforce Veteran since Covid I have really had a hard time keeping up with all my bills. I was hospitalized and have had medical issues ever since. I recently have had to stop working due to my conditions. I do not like asking for help but once I asked help here within a week of asking for help I received relief on my power bill. I am very thankful as the power company and state of Nevada have not helped they claim me and my family make too much yet over half our pay goes to mortgage alone. Anyhow thank you very much! I appreciate the help!

Hi my name is Seth Pitts. Due to unforeseen mental health issues I ended up homeless and out in the street. It was just me and my little dog. With the help of the VA I was able to locate a place. But I needed some assistance financially to secure a place. Not just a place to safely rest my head at night but a place to call home. With the help of this organization I was able to do something that I was not possible . It was a dark time in my life and I began to lose all hope. The Kline organization made it possible for me to achieve something that I thought I might never have. To have a place and to begin to live life once again. There no words to describe what this organization has done for me. Thank you it doesn't come close to how much I appreciate this opportunity. The people at Kline Funding were not only kind and caring but extremely helpful. To any of my fellow veterans that find themselves in a similar situation that there is hope out there. I urge them to seek the mental and physical help to start to live life once again. Thank you very much thank you.

I have been a volunteer and board member for the Kline Veterans Fund for over 10 years. I love working with this organization. The impact they have brought to the Veteran community in Las Vegas is better than any other organization that I was involved with in the past.

I'm so thrilled by what Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund is doing for the community in Southern Nevada. They are advocating for homeless veterans and calling attention to basic needs that are often overlooked by civilians assuming our veterans are taken care of. I was pleased to learn that the majority of funds raised during their fundraisers throughout the year go directly to the veterans and their families, not to overhead costs like commercials and mailers or big salaries. It's also really nice to see that veterans are valued at the events and there are nice touches to make things look attractive, not cardboard boxes full of junk.

KVF is an awesome organization that helps veterans through Southern Nevada with rental, mortgage and utilities. Having an organization that offers these services to Veterans ensures that veterans are housed and off the streets.

Kline’s helped me get back on my feet when I had lost hope. They are kind and caring and helped me with my rent in just a few days. It’s because of them that I am not in the street and can focus on my mental health.

There are so many nonprofits doing great work in Las Vegas to volunteer with. I choose Kline Veterans Fund because keeping our veterans housed should be a priority for all Americans.
There are hundreds, if not, thousands of local veterans who would be homeless without the services of Kline.

I came to Kline for help after I lost my job during the covid shutdown and could not make my rent. The process to apply was easy and they didn't make me feel embarrassed to ask for help. Because of them, my family was able to stay in our apartment instead of landing on the streets. I was able to get assistance in a matter of days from start to finish. no one does what they do.

I am a disabled veteran. I have PTSD since early in my 25 year military career. My family understood and helped me to cope with it. When COVID came my PTSD worsened to the point I would rarely go out and much of my contribution to our household fell uon my wife. Upon the recommendation of my care team I applied for, and was awarded a service dog. My dog was funded by a grant from the Kline foundation. Kline invested in a service dog for two years without knowing who would eventually receive the animal. The Kline Veterans fund invested in me without even knowing who I am or what the animal would do for me. Well, my service dog allows me to go out in public and regain some of what I lost. My Dog helps we with mobility, which I really needed after I had cancer surgery. I am deeply grateful for the staff and donors at Kline for helping me when I needed help most.

Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund partners with the Public Education Foundation to sponsor 5 $2,000 scholarship opportunities each year for dependents of active duty/retired military personnel. These scholarships are to support post-secondary education. This is a great organization that gives back to its Veteran community and supports the growth of our youth.

I volunteer with KVF whenever I can. Not only because of the work that they do, but also that I feel like I’ve made a difference every time that I do volunteer. Every event is well put-together and organized and easy to volunteer for in addition to knowing that I got to help these veterans in our community. As long as they keep doing their amazing work, I will be happy to continue trying to be part of it.

I'm a spouse of an Active Duty Service Member stationed at Nellis AFB. I'm passionate about supporting our Military Community, including our Veterans.
Kline does an outstanding job supporting our local Veterans and Military Community in general. Prompt and appropriate programs/events and support, provided very often, are just some of the things that make Kline an amazing non-profit.
Our Military Community struggles way less because Kline exists.
Thank you Kline!

The Edward Kline Memorial Homeless Veterans Fund is one of a kind. With Stephanie leading the way - I've seen incredible impact made towards veterans who are facing housing emergencies. This organization provides care to individuals who have fought for our country and in turn the positive ripple effect of this organization has wrapped around entire families in the Las Vegas region.
