Mission: EdTA creates an artistic, educational and professional network for theatre arts educators, students, professionals, and enthusiasts to share ideas and support the effort to have theatre arts education (including film, television and other related media) recognized in all phases of lifelong learning. EdTA does so by the following:1) Cultivating support to sustain and grow the organization2) Honoring the work and recognizing the achievements of our members and others3) Producing educational events, programming and publications to expand the knowledge and skills base for our members4) Promoting the work of the association and its membership to the public and other organizations5) Serving our members by being the leading advocate for theatre arts education 6) Supporting our volunteer leader network7) Promoting high professional standards
