Programs: Science fair - this program teaches science and engineering skills from k through 12th grade (538 students) and supports regional, state and national competition. This program also includes facilitation of individual local school fairs (approximately 11,000 students)

step into kindergarten - this program was created with the goal to increase the kindergarten readiness of the 4 year old students. This will decrease the potential for summer slide by extending the school year for children who have participated during the school year in the voluntary pre-kindergarten (vpk) program.
