Mission: Eccla acts as an information clearinghouse for students by connecting them with local museums, colleges, and community resources, by convening key educators to form high-leverage partnerships in order to provide excellence in education. Eccla also acts as a fiscal agent to usc for community grants they receive.
Every year at our annual event to honor the teachers in the heart of Los Angeles, I hear teachers tell us how much it means to be recognized for the work that they do above and beyond the job description. These teachers are true heroes to many of their students in often challenging situations. Of all of the work that we do to connect teachers to local resources, this event is the best of all. We hope that continued and broader support will allow this annual event to continue.
