Mission: The EDC-VC is a regional public/private partnership formed by and between local government officials and private industry to develop and implement strategies for county-wide economic development through, among other things, developing and implementing strategies which will leverage existing resources through partnerships. The EDC-VC's mission is to: 1. Promote a strong regional economy through collaboration and marketing of Ventura County.2. Efficiently and effectively coordinate and deliver regional economic development programs and services.3. Provide information through forums and programs to educate and enhance countywide knowledge and support of all stakeholders for economic stability.
