I have worked with EAP in Bangladesh where they did a stellar job introducing the new concept of Integrated Landscape Management in one of our regional programs. They did so with passion for purpose, professionalism, energy and flexibility, adapting quickly and easily to the specific local conditions and stakeholders. As a result of their initial work, ILM is taking shape as an excellent tool to support the broader development agenda in Bangladesh, be it climate change adaptation or comprehensive (regional) SDG implementation. The team is a pleasure to work with.Bastiaan Mohrmann, Retired Head Asia, 2030WRG/IFC
This year again, EcoAgriculture Partners has demonstrated its capacity to influence global debates about sustainable landscapes and food systems in the most efficient way.
I am proud to chair the Board of Directors of this great organization.
I have the privilege to chair the Board of Ecoagriculture Partners, a great organization I have admired for many years. The combination of their expertise in EcoAgriculture and in Integrated landscape management, together with their demonstrated capacity to innovate places them in an exceptional position to address some of today's most important challenges, including changing climates and unsustainable food systems. With the necessary support, they are ready to deliver.
I am proud to be working with EcoAgriculture Partners for several years now. They are a global leader in integrated landscape thinking and a continuous inspiration to my work. EcoAg's highly professional staff are able to bring the latest insights and innovation on landscapes to our joint projects, connecting scientific insight with their practical, on the ground experience with integrated landscape initiatives. They are at the centre of a large network of landscape professionals, including everything from field partners to academia and high level decision makers, which helps in drawing in the expertise from and bringing out the messages across to all levels where it matters. EcoAg deserves all support to continue their important work!
Beginning as an advisor five years ago, I was so impressed with EcoAg’s cutting edge thinking, creative systemic solutions and rock solid ethics that I became a board member and a donor. EcoAg was ahead of its time for a movement that is gaining momentum, optimistic yet realistic about what it takes to engage stakeholders and plan and implement solutions that lead to the win/win/win sustainability of landscapes— agriculture, livelihoods and the natural environment.
As a health professional I care very much about the effect poor food production practices has had on human bodies and on the earth. Sustainable agricultural methods are of utmost important for the healthy survival of people and the planet. I am a proud donor to this very worthy organization which has undertaken this important work.
I worked with EcoAgriculture Partners on a jam session about their burgeoning 1000 Landscapes Initiative. During the workshop I facilitated, I got a sense of their passion, vision, and energy about their cause which only inspired me and my work. Louis and the rest of EcoAg Partners are a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to more collaboration with them.
EcoAgriculture Partners, are bringing effective tools to new leaders in integrated landscape management. Their commitment to insuring critical landscape around the world stay intact, and provide sustainable benefits to communities in these landscapes, are so important to sustain these important areas for biodiversity, community food and ecological services that help mitigate climate change.
The major issues of sustainability lie in the landscape. Smallholder farmers are on the frontlines of the fight against climate change. Together with other landscape stakeholders they need conducive environment and market that reward they efforts and investments.
EcoAgriculture Partners is bringing the required know-how to the fore, making available and promoting the knowledge, information and partnership building approaches to achieve that, in a very impactful manner that have exceeded my expectation as a board member.
EcoAg is a great NGO! Reforestamos Mexico collaborated with EcoAg in organizing a regional Meso American dialogue on Sustainable Landscapes. We realized that what EcoAg is promoting is complementary to our work. We have been developing a regional strategy for strengthening the forest entrepreneurial ecosystem to allow the development of community based forest/landscape enterprises that will end deforestation, promote sustainable forest management and restore the landscape. Our work requires landscape platforms like the ones EcoAg promotes and develops. We are currently developing financial strategies
EcoAgriculture Partners are global Leaders in the world of sustainable development at landscape scale. For a small organisation, they pack a remarkably large punch. With an extraordinary network, they are setting a very new and ambitious agenda to transform agriculture and beyond that the way we all think about natural resource management.

I have been a donor, board member and adviser to this amazing organization since its inception more than 10 years ago. Its research-based, grassroots approach to finding solutions to feeding the planet while conserving wild biodiversity, insuring livelihoods for small farmers, and others has been an idea ahead of its time. As the consequences of climate change loom large and grow, we need an groups like EcoAgriculture Partners that are already finding sustainable solutions that will make a positive difference in the lives of millions in years to come.
EcoAgriculture Partners is transforming the way agriculture operates, by convening groups of stakeholders in landscape dialogues and by working directly to enhance local governance in agricultural landscapes. They also sponsor the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature Network. EcoAgriculture Partners promotes integrated landscape management, a way to achieve many of the Sustainable Development Goals. They work together with partners to advance cross-sector analysis, co-implement landscape initiatives, strengthen capacities and promote policy dialogue.
Thanks so much for sharing! Your support means a lot!
Ecoagriculture Partners is a fantastic organization that punches far above its weight in terms of impact. They have influenced global dialogues and heavyweight policymakers to think in terms of landscapes, while also maintaining a commitment to farmers and land managers who want to link with other people in their field to learn, share and replicate successes.
