Mission: Echo national institute for health's primary service is to act as a resource center providing effective, personal and caring guidance to people who face critical medical problems. It places patients and their families into contact with medical practitioners and acute care centers that are uniquely suited and equipped for treating their complicated conditions. It also acts as a liaison between the patient and the medical establishment helping to explain, reassure and smooth the way of their treatment. Many times it acts as an advocate for the patient alerting practitioners to new alternatives.
