Mission: The society is an international organization of researchers in the field of eating disorders interested in anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder and obesity. The primary purpose of the organization is to hold an annual scientific meeting during which the most recent research in the field can be presented and discussed.
Programs: Sponsored annual convention/symposium for presentation of current research and scientific papers to membership in leipzig, germany during october, 2017. Presentations included numerous workshops; posters and oral submissions; invited speakers; plenary symposiums; short paper sessions; poster sessions; lectures/addresses and a session on the top-rated abstracts. There were more than 125 attendees from 17 different countries. Numerous oral and poster presentations relevant to the organization's members were provided to attendees.
