Mission: The corporation is organized and will be operated exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of sections 501(c)(3), 170(c)(2)(b), 2055(a)(2) and 2522(a)(2) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future united states internal revenue law (the "code"), including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations described in section 501(c)(3) and 170(c)(2) of the internal revenue code.
Programs: The organization, formed to promote and preserve african american blues, jazz, and gospel, holds an annual music festival featuring concerts, artist workshops and similar activities.
the entity hosted several concerts in austin,texas along the 11th and 12th street corridor. These venues were some of the only clubs that booked blues artists during the 1940s - 1960s.
