Did not adopt from this rescue but still have contacted them about questions on a mini I own. They are very nice and gave really good advice. I like to watch their facebook page too, might get one later.

I contacted this rescue to see if they could help save 5 mini mules from a kill lot in Arkansas. The mini mules had about 36 hours before they were sent to slaughter. The owner, Angela, responded immediately that she would help, when no one else would. The rescue is new and is primarily self funded at this point. They seem to be one of the very few rescues who are devoted to minis and who seem to be very conscientious about their commitments.

I saw this rescue at Howl-o-ween in Knoxville, and they answered a lot of my questions regarding the difference between minis and regular horses. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. They had several minis with them and they were very well behaved and friendly. It was one of the highlights of the event for me.
