Mission: Sight improvement for cornea related impairments
Programs: Transplant services - we processed approximately 832 eye tissues and provided approximately 589 corneas for transplant to 580 sight-impaired individuals.
we provided eye tissue for research locally and nationally.
we provided approximately 69 education and in-service sessions this year with between 3-6 medical professionals in attendance at each session. These professionals include physicians, nurses, etc. We also assisted with area-wide workshops and health fairs.
