Mission: In 1999, from its commitment to house lease- free a Headstart Program and an English Language Ministry program within the Church, East Dallas Christian Church made a significant contribution to the people of the neighborhood by undertaking a major renovation of a 5-story historical building to house other non-profit agencies lease free. The goal of the Center is to provide a model of collaboration between nonprofit, community-based agencies serving the needs of families and children with vital programs and services, an innovative use of a historical urban structure, and the revitalization of an inner-city Dallas neighborhood.
