Causes: Education, Scholarships, Scholarships & Student Financial Aid
Mission: The bay area leadership foundation (balf) provides academic enrichment and scholarships to underserved, highly motivated bay area students who face significant challenges achieve success in high school, college and beyond.
Programs: Students that successfully complete the access program and graduate from high school with the required gpa and classes are eligible to apply for discretionary scholarship awards from balf. Balf then provides continued mentoring and guidance to support college completion. Fourteen scholars received funding for their education from the foundation in 2014.
