Causes: Children & Youth, Crime & Law, Youth Violence Prevention
Mission: To identify children who have exhibited truant tendencies, assess the causal problems for these tendencies, and provide services or refer the identified children and their families to necessary services to eliminate or alleviate the causal problems for truant behavior within east baton rouge parish.
Programs: Truancy assessment service center (tasc) designed to provide early identification, rapid assessment, and intensive truancy reduction services to at-risk students grades k 5. The tasc program targets children most in need of services as well as high risk schools.
