I worked as a research intern for the E.WE. foundation and during my internship the E.WE. foundation provided me with mentorship and helped me gain a better perspective on advocacy work and the challenges faced by people impacted by genetic conditions, which is something I'm very passionate about. as a genetic laboratory technologist who's rarely has the opportunity to interact with the people impacted by the diagnosis work I do I'm very grateful for the opportunity to intern for the E.WE. Foundation
