Programs: Dance education program - 1,190 students and teachers served directly and 20,025 individuals total served directly and indirectly. These programs used learning standards and nyc department of education ("doe") dance blueprint to design sequential interdisciplinary curricula integrating dance skills, improvisation, composition, performance, the school curricula, and dance journal writing. 1)"partnerships in literacy through dance & creativity" served 6 title 1 pre k-5 and prek-8 nyc public schools primarily during the school day. Schools included: ps 4, washington heights, ps 15, east village, ps 140 & 188, lower east side, manhattan and ps 26, bedford-stuyvesant & ps 414, williamsburg, brooklyn. We also conducted 1 after-school program and 1 family engagement program at ps 15. We worked directly with students and teachers, educational paraprofessionals & staff & family members. 2) our professional learning program served 5 teaching artists working in 6 title 1 schools in a 120-hour program including mentored and peer-to-peer learning, observation, instruction, and reflection.

dance performance program - dance performance program involving 5,000 audience members, 4 performer/artists & 16 events: 11 public performances and five audience reflection protocols of 6 original dance/performance works through our salon performance series. In nyc we performed at booking dance festival at jazz at lincoln center (2 performances), at 92sty (3 performances, 2 works in 2 festivals, one of which was webcast); and in our studio 310 and the abrazo interno gallery at the clemente center (5 performances, 4 works on the lower east side); and in san antonio at american educational research association's annual meeting (1 performance, 1 work).
