Our whole family has been blessed with joining D'Vine Path. Our son was in the first class an learned so many skills in agriculture and friendships. His Dr for neurofeedback actually could see improvement in his brain waves due to the positive interactions and experiences he was having on a daily basis! Now he will be an artist for the DVP Canopy Art Studios, where their new Creative Director will be supporting and managing his art business and he can be with more artists. Our son is so excited to be back at D'Vine Path with his friends in this new opportunity! DVP not only grows amazing vines and veg....they grow amazing people!
DVine Path is a wonderful non profit serving adults with different intellectual and developmental abilities. Our 24 yr old daughter has flourished at DVine Path. We have witnessed huge growth in her confidence and self-esteem. She has many new friendships and the Thursday evening socials are great! So grateful to have this awesome program right here in North San Diego County. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for my daughter and DVine Path!!! I'm sure it will be nothing short of fantastic!!!
D'Vine path has been the most amazing, positive experience for my son. The caring staff help the young adults with disabilities navigate the necessary skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and cooking as well as the so important skill of interpersonal relations. This is all done in conjunction with providing real job training in the fields of viticulture and hospitality among others. All of this happens in a beautiful environment surrounded by trees and vineyards but it really is the people that make this program so wonderful.
Paul and I drove from our home in Chino to Fallbrook to help DVine staff and families clean up a new property. Being the parents of two special needs individuals, we wanted to see how things are done in another area! We met so many beautiful people. We also worked hard!! LOL! We wish DVine the very best in their new endeavors and we especially wish the students who attend and learn and grow the very best. They deserve it most!
This Program is AMAZING! D’ vine path has been a god send for my son. He is learning & thriving with his peers in the program. Lenila & all staff are very committed to providing each student an excellent program. They take the time to know each student well. This approach provides customized learning experiences for them, while meeting the structured agenda. D’Vine Path is truly a unique program for special needs students. The outdoor setting is fabulous for their learning environment. I can’t say enough about the program and how much it means to my family and my son. He is treated with respect, patience, kindness and enthusiasm each day. We LOVE D’Vine Path.
I have spoken at 2 of their classes and was very impressed with the staff and how well the organization ran. It was very efficient and displayed so much love. Thank you DVine Path for who you are. Dave Ericson
The quick expansion of the programs in just a few years is a testament to how effective and influential D'Vine Path is for not only the students, but their families and the community at large.
We are so proud of Lenila and company for finding a way to help the mentally-challenged to help them have a semblance of a normal life. This program truly makes a difference! Not only does it help the parents and their children, but they are all in great hands with the staff and are really cared for by them!
For years our adult daughter who is developmentally delayed has struggled to find just the right fit for her. D'Vine Path has offered her the help, direction, and encouragement she needs to be successful in life. Their new Canopy Arts program is ideal for her. She has been attempting to market her art with some help from our family. Now she will have a dedicated art director who can instruct and guide based on his qualifications. We look forward to her accomplishments under DVine Path.
Wonderful inclusive nonprofit who has dynamic innovative and engaging programming for adults with developmental disabilities. The program teaches vocational and life skills and enables this underserved population to find meaningful employment and engagement in their local community.
D'Vine Path is an amazing organization that empowers adults with special needs and creates a beautiful and accepting environment for their students to grow. I've loved every second I have spent with the students and staff at D'Vine Path, the sense of community and acceptance and love is so strong and all are welcome. This is a transformative program for the students, but it's also so transformative and life changing for everyone involved.
Wonderful Non-Profit that has allowed so many individuals with Autism, Asperger’s and other disabilities to engage with their community and learn how to live a meaningful life.
Glad that we have had the chance to see D’Vine Path’s work and their results at the fundraiser they hold every year.
We look forward to watching their accomplishments as they grow and expand their program.
D'vine Path has become a cornerstone in the Fallbrook community. We added our booth to the farmers market in downtown Fallbrook last year and quickly became the center of warmth on Main street.
It is so wonderful to watch people from our community interact with D'Vine Path students working in the booth. The farmers market is a weekly opportunity for students to connect with others in operations that involve product promotion and money handling skills. Visitors are genuinely captivated by the delightful promotional chatter and the often comical nature of transactions.
This venue has become a familiar safe haven for our students and fulfills their innate desire to interact with others. Overcoming social disconnection is a major benefit for the students as they take their cues from our facilitators working side by side in the booth. Our students learn to practice appropriate behavior and reap the benefits of purpose- driven role playing which includes earning a modest income from their work shift and team-building that prepares them for job opportunities in our local community.
From my first day volunteering to working here for over a year I’ve seen tremendous growth and support. Every day I walk into the program I’m greeted with smiling faces and heartwarming greetings. No matter how stressful life can be going to this program feels like all my worries are just melted away. It’s impossible not to laugh or smile when your there. The staff are the most genuine and supportive people you will ever meet. The students feed off that energy and it creates this loving, hilarious, and joyful environment. D’Vine Path has given not only the students but the staff to be able to succeed and grow into the people they want to become.
What do special needs students do after high school? Will they become gainfully employed? Will they cultivate a healthy and positive social circle? Will they thrive?
D'Vine Path addresses all these needs for young adults with special needs by providing guidance, assessment, assistance, and finding or maintaining a part time or full time job by providing vocational skills, independent living skills, job seeking assistance, a like minded peer group; all provided by a carefully curated staff. The program focusses on Viticulture, Catering Hospitality and the Arts on a beautiful sprawling 8 acre ranch in North County San Diego. Love, Compassion, Tolerance, Hope, and Faith are felt by all who are fortunate enough to experience this program.
D Vine Path is an excellent group empowering the students and the community. It’s incredible to see the students doing new things and building on their relationships. I have absolutely enjoyed being a part of this team. We are going to expand the programs. I will be working with the cooking school / catering program. We are going to teach the students farm fresh recipes. These can be repeated and mastered. The students can share the food made with other peers at the socials as well as the surrounding community. We have the goal of each student learning a variety of categories to do with food and hospitality. Also how healthy food choices and portioning work and reflect positively to personal health.
D’Vine Path is like no place I’ve ever seen before. It’s truly transformational. I watch students enter with more confidence, no sense of community, lacking meaningful friendships, and without a life passion. As the students grow here, they find themselves surrounded by true friends, and a purpose to their lives. I call it the happiest place on earth because there is no such thing as a bad day on the ranch.
When I think about D’Vine Path and what it means to me, two words come to mind. “Love” and “team”. This is a very unique place where a team thrives and the creativity that flows freely and naturally builds a safe and supportive environment for learning and growing in both our students and team members. From social challenges to vocational training and everything in between, our facilitators are constantly designing new ways to keep the curriculum fresh and fun to encourage a healthy, well balanced lifestyle. With each new student comes a new set of challenges and the success we witness in each person on a daily basis fills hearts with joy and keeps everyone excited about showing up each and every day. Each morning I arrive at D’Vine Path, I am greeted by grateful, happy students, ready to hug and begin their day at the ranch. It really doesn’t get much better than that. I feel so honored and grateful to be part of something so truly special!
