(1) built a yulin pet center to provide a social place to empower and unite dog lovers to speak up against dog eating, and to host local community events to educate locals about stolen pets and the potential health hazards of eating dogs and cats. (2) provided medical care, food, and shelter for rescued dogs and arranged for foster and adoption programs. (3) donated two vehicles dedicated to providing spay and neutering services for farmers' dogs. (4) paid for transportation for 9 dogs rescued from a yulin slaughterhouse to homes and shelters in the u. S. (5) sponsored an intern program for local vet-tech students. (6) sponsored a much needed dogs "lost and found" platform because most of the dog victims in this trade are stolen pets. (7) enlisted college aged volunteers to organize events targeting children and their parents to better understand the value and behavior of dogs as companions not a food source. (8) sponsored a local children's painting contest in a region heavily impacted by the dog meat trade, and provided prizes for 5,000 participating kids and their schools.

Duo duo's presence in this city is the first step in abolishing the notion that dog-eating is a cultural phenomenon. Through education to promote awareness, duo duo assisted local volunteers to establish an animal shelter to house stray dogs, ensuring they won't be taken by a slaughterhouse. Duo duo also established a pet education center to organize community events for animal welfare education
