I have been a Proud Board member for over 16 years. I am also a homeowner on the Community Land Trust of DNI which is part of the organization. It has been trully amazing to watch how DSNI has come together during this very hard situation and managed to pull together to serve the community. Every week on Friday mornings, you can see the countless volunteers and staff members show up to help put together bags of fruits and vegetables, non-perishable food items, hot meals and vouchers for the Farmer's Market for the community members. By 10:15 am, you will see the line on Dudley St. start to get bigger and longer as people young and old will start to gather to grab a # and wait for the items. Everyone is so grateful. You even see people sitting down on the sidewalk enjoying a hot meal. This is what you call Team work!!
