Mission: The drug abuse alternatives center's mission is turning lives around by providing healthy alternatives to alcohol and drug use.
Programs: Turning point: turning point has 610 sonoma county residents in our residential program. Daacs residential program has provided services to a total of 248 short-term clients and 362 long-term residential clients. Daacs detoxification program over the 12 month reporting period has provided 2020 non-medical residential detoxification admissions, resulting in 4,715 bed days.
reap: a total of 163 clients were served for the fy16/17 year. 95% of clients showed a decrease in the frequency and volume of alcohol and other drug use (as demonstrated by caloms annual update conducted during treatment and caloms discharge).
outpatient: 820 participants were served at the end of fy16/17. At least 50% of all clients of all clients discharged during the contract year will have successfully completed the program or left early with satisfactory progress. 47% of clients receiving standard discharges maintained sobriety during treatment.
