Southwest Caregivers arranges transportation for my husband to attend Alzheimer's Disease respite programs around Austin by connecting volunteers with cars with elderly folks needing rides. Their generous help provides me with 4 hours of additional respite per week, and their cheerul, friendly outlook makes my husband happy to accompany them. They are wonderful, caring people who give freely of their time to improve the lives of people like my husband and me. They make a difference in the world.

This is a great program, because you get to know some of your neighbors you may not have had the chance to meet before. I always look forward to taking Mr. P to the grocery store every couple of weeks - he is quite the character!!
