Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Dreaming of a Chance strives to rescue abandoned birds specializing in helping pigeons. Once rescued, we work to provide them with quality care for the entirety of their natural lives. Furthermore, we seek to teach others about proper bird care and how to eliminate common problems that lead to abandonment and neglect situations for these birds.
Results: We have helped over 70 animals since our start in 2020.
Target demographics: abandoned domestic birds in need
Direct beneficiaries per year: 36 birds get a forever home at the sanctuary and educate over 1,000 people.

Programs: rescue services, lifetime housing and care, and education to the public
