Dream Chasers 21 is a blessing to say the least! Mrs. Lorri Brown and her family are changing lives one day at a time. Times are tough for a lot of people and sometimes you just need to know someone cares and that's what this organization is all about. If you need a prayer, food, clothes or resources they are there to help! I urge anyone who may be in need of something to reach out BUT don't forget to pay it forward, when you are in a good place, please donate what you can to help.
Our family was in need for food, and was answered by this amazing group, in less than 20 minutes. They provided our family with 5 boxes or food. Filled to the top, for 2 adults, 2 teens, and a 2 year old. One box was filled with frozen Mc. Donald's breakfast. We have enough food to last us almost 3 weeks. The Taylor family is extremely grateful for Dream Chasers 21.
I have been following Dream Chasers 21 on Facebook for a while. Lorrie posted that she had food for 2/3 families available. I reached to them and within a hour i picked up enoufh food to help my family for the week. This organization is amazing and is always reaching out to the community to give individuals and families the help they need. The food provided to my family tonight will help me save money to get my truck fixed. Thank you Lorrie and Dream Chasers 21!

This is the best non-profit ever they really care about people and are always willing to help people if it wasn't for this nonprofit I do not know what I would have done on more than one occasion love love love them

So, I scrolled across this couple about three years ago I think. They was asking for donations to help some one. I’ve been following them every since. It’s-a joy to watch them help others no matter the circumstances, nationality or religion. Overall, genuine people that loves helping.
I honestly don’t no where to start. Mrs. Lorrie and Mr. Randy are angels on Earth. The amount of love and support they pour back into our community is Absolutely amazing. I am so blessed to have them and this organization in my life.

I am so blessed to be in a group with Mrs.Lorri. I just asked to be pointed in the right direction for assistance with my bills. I’m a single mom of a 2 year old little boy. And things have been really tough lately. Not only did Lori give me contacts for help. She raised money to help me when she didn’t have to. She is an angel. Absolutely heaven sent. She went out of her way to help me and I couldn’t be more grateful.
You have been such a blessing to us. Last May I had a pulmonary embolism. I wasn't supposed to survive it. I was heavily sedated and in a coma for 10 days. I was hospitalized for a full month. Praise God for every new day. I wasn't able to return to work after leaving the hospital. I had to relearn to walk, talk, feed myself and function again. I don't know how we would have been able to eat during this difficult time had it not been for your help. Not only was food provided but, Tylenol (MUCH NEEDED) Toilet paper, juice and goodies for my grandsons. Good protein is so important and you provided it. This organization helped me when my furnace was out me and my children were in the cold and I reached out and literally within the hour we were supplied with space heaters so we could stay warm. The owner has even stayed in contact with me to make sure me and my children were staying warm. They went above and beyond for my family without hesitation

This organization has helped me in so many ways.
They have assisted me with Christmas presents and even a Christmas tree for me and my children.
They have helped me furnished my living room with a brand new sectional for next to nothing in cost.
Most recently, I was given a washer and dryer that was able to assist my family and the family of my cousin. I need the dryer and she needed and washer as ours had broken during a tough time with limited funds.
They have been such a blessing.

This organization was sent by God to assist the SENIORS in my building with wholesome nourishment. Since many of us are afraid to go out to the grocery stories or have no transportation to go we receive a weekly donation of what is needed. I can say for all of us that none of the donations they bring to us have any bad expiration date on them. We are always the forgotten ones but, when we see them coming we get so excited and enjoy their smiles and cheerful attitudes. Much of the product perishable and non perishables are items that many of us could not afford even in the grocery store. This is a high-rise for seniors and each week we all are in anticipation of what we will receive that day, We do our own setup so all can make individual selections of what a person wants.
I would give this kind, compassionate loving organization a perfect status of TRUE DEDICATED AWESOMENESS
These people go above and beyond. I made one phone call and explained my family's situation. They made sure I was connected locally with any reasources that could be helpful and even kept in contact to make sure I had found the help I needed. Today they brought me the clothes they had gotten together for myself and my husband.
It's th first time we have had good clothes in awhile it made both of us feel good and now I will have something nice to wear to work. Times are tough right now and the world around us is changing. It's very comforting knowing people still care for eachother.

After taking in a homeless mother with five young children I realized that my resources was not sufficient to provide for them. The family had absolutely nothing and they needed clothing, food, and encouragement. Being a woman with no children my thoughts started to overwhelm me. I reached out to Calvin Stennis CDC Inc and the support was immediately. From encouraging words and conversation to taking care of the immediate need of the family. Clothing and food was provided. The three oldest kids was going back to school and was in dire need of decent clothing. Thanks a million to this organization.
These people are the best. I had a very rough day when. I was supposed to meet them to pick up a car race bed for my son.... when Mrs. Lorri called for me to meet them o broke down and it was amazing how she made me feel. She came over to my place and dripped it off with no questions asked. And it so happened that is was my sons birthday and they had no idea. When we talked I brought up that it was his day and it was also her husband's birthday. She out of nowhere had a birthday cake for my son. Today I also met them to pick up a nice dresser for my kids room and they had food for me and my kids and to top it off a spiderman blanket for my son. These people are amazing. She checks on me and helps me through my time without even knowing how much they really have helped me so far.

Wonderful wonderful staff. My name is King and I came all the way from Texas at the start of October 2020. My journey here was pretty hurried but in all; interesting. When I got to Georgia I had a couple tasks to take care of and I had to sleep outside for a couple days. The nights were super cold and after about 3 days I decided to reach out to find whatever kind of help I can find/get.
The day I decided to actually start my search it was the start of a weekend and most places if not all didn’t answer. Out of all of the ones I called, the only people to call me back was Calvin Stennis. A lady by the name of Lorri filled through, sent me so many different resources for food, shower , accommodation and even went as far as helping with personal donations to support me while still looking for even better resources that could help me till I get right on my fee! Whatever basis the organization was made on to help those in need. They are definitely keeping to it. I am forever grateful to them and Ms lorri especially. Gods blessings to them all. Big Thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤️

I am a nurse and had a patient yesterday with ongoing hospitalizations and health problems. He shared that he is financially in ruins. His spirit was so defeated. I asked if he needed food and contacted Lorri and Randy to help him. They went to his house the same day to deliver him food! These two are angels on earth!

I just so happen to see them on Facebook offering milk. I have a big family (we have 8 kids and adopted my sisters 3 when she passed away), so I reached out to them.. Just wanted anyone in need to know that this charity truly is for the people. I personally believed that most charities use the resources others provide for themselves which I have seen before!! BUT this specific NON PROFIT organization helped me at no cost whatsoever. Today I had asked if anyone had some milk for my 2 months old bc my breast milk supply is low and Mrs. Stennis quickly contacted me letting me know she had some for me as well as needed clothes for my baby. God left angels in this world to help the less fortunate and this organization is one of them. God bless then for all that they do and God bless their hearts. As a Marine Corps Veteran dealing with unemployment and mental health issues my family was on a little rough path economically. We where referred to this great organization first for assistance with food and some winter coats. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we where not in need at all, but it was more or less okay to take what we needed, in fact that was Mrs. Laurie's words when it came to the coats "take what you need". We felt very comfortable and we where the ones being appreciated for coming to get the help, they kept saying "this is what we are here for" it was our first time getting assistance like this because of the fear of being shamed or looked down upon, none of that was present NONE at all! A few days after we left I got a text asking if we received all of the coats we needed and if we needed anything else. So at the time we needed a new twin mattress, and after feeling so comfortable our first visit, we asked if they had one. They replied back that they did not have a mattress at the time but that they would put us on a list and if one came available they would contact us. Well, they kept their word and contacted us with not only a twin mattress and box spring in almost new condition but a dresser, mirror and a bunk bed that just they morning before getting their text we where standing in our kitchen talking about our need for a bunk bed now that our grandchildren had moved in with us. This organization has been a God sent organization in our lives we are greatful for their generosity and support they have given to our family. THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!

While I live in another state because of my personal connection to the Brown's I have watched them for several years do what a lot of people only talk about. It's really difficult to articulate the effectiveness and impact that Lorri and Randy Brown are making in the ATL area as a REAL Non-Profit. Lorri's heart is for helping people in anyway possible and God has blessed her to have a spouse (Randy) who gets in the trenches with her. The real mission work in the Kingdom is feeding, clothing, and nourishing the poor and needy without regard of race, creed, or color this is the heart of this non-profit. I can only imagine how many people have gone to bed thankful that they had a meal on a particular day, a blanket to brace the night time cold, or a coat to from point A to point B . All because of Calvin Stennis CDC. Lorri and Randy are not talking about it they are all about it!!

Lorri founder of the Calvin Stennis CDC along with her husband Randy have done and outstanding job in providing for the destitute and homeless population ing the ATL area. I have knowm Lorri since 2008 and she has always rose to the occasion in assisting other people in whatever area she can. In 2013 the Calvin Stennis CDC has taken their organization to another level as they diligently fulfill the needs of hurting and hungry people. The ible says the poor you have with you always but not everyone is willing to serve the poor as this organization is. Their walk matches their talk. God Bless them in the days to come.
Let me just say, if you are in need or want to donate this organization is the real deal. The Brown's are amazing people doing God's work. They are really making a difference in our community. I have been on both ends, in need and I have also made some donations. There is not a food pantry anywhere in this county that allows you to pick your items, but Lorri says "go shop, get what you would like." Amazing!!! Thank you Randy and Lorri for truly making a difference in my life.
Hi I am a single mom with 3 children who works on a commission type of job. My job is very very slow this time of the year people don't want to pay their bills so that cuts into my commission I met Lori on Facebook and I had no idea how wonderful her and her husband are. I went to pick up food after having to reschedule many time she was still able to help me which was a blessing in itself I expected to get two bags of food most of them maybe can Food that would end up in the cabinet being donated back to a food drive when I got there it was unreal the hospitality that she showed me when I got home that evening with the food my kids could not believe it ! This by far was a gift from God for me and my children to meet Lori and her family the next day I received a beautiful text from her that stated" as long as we are living you and your children will never want for food again" unbelievable! Lori and hubby I love you guys very much I don't have money to give you all right now but as I told you me and my children will volunteer any help that you may need in any items of theirs that they no longer can wear love you guys.

Like with many, life has gotten hard and funds almost non- existent. It's been difficult finding work and its truly discouraging and quite humbling to be where I am. I received two boxes of food and several coats to help my family throughout this holiday season. I just recently moved to the area and needed q little boost to get on my feet. Ms Lorrie was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable.

She's very understanding to people's situations and doesn't look down on a person. She does not treat you like a client, she treats you like family. Met Ms. Brown last month during a tough period of the month for our family. We have 5 children; 4 boys and 1 girl. For the past several months we have experienced a job loss (my husband) and my older son was a gunshot victim.
So on the day I met Ms. Brown, we chatted quite a bit and she offered the help as she promised. I didn't have to provide her a lengthy amount information like some other agencies require. By the end of our visit not only did we get the food assistance, she offered employment assistance and a kind word. It was nice to be around an organization that allows you keep your dignity as you go through some trials.
Although food,clothing and shelter are the most basic of our necessities , without love often these needs are not met! Lorri and the Calvin Stennis ,Inc. give unselfishly the agape love that meets needs of the community. Lorri shares graciously her well of resources to assist those in critical situations. As a receipiant of that love I am forever grateful. May God bless Randy and Lorri richly as they be about there Fathers business!
Lorri and Randy work extremely hard to help strangers, anyone in need. And they do the work with a smile. It's like they can't wait to help. If they are giving food, clothes or furniture.....if they have it, consider it yours! I hope and pray their storage is never empty!
Lorri, is an awesome woman that is dedicated to keeping her word and doing what she can to give back to the community. Her caring spirit drives her to go that extra mile to help others. She has been a God send to me and I appreciate all the help and advice she has given to me. I look forward to working with her again and pray that God continues to give her favor.
I'm a mom of 3 kids and sometimes it's hard to make ends meet and Lorri helped me in my time of need. She was quick to reach out and responded right away. I am grateful for her help and she has continued to try and find clothes for my kids. This organization is amazing and I definitely will be going back.

I came to this organization in NEED. The details would go on forever. What is important to know is bow i felt like I was the only yhing that mattered to Calvin Stennis. The ownet Lorri is wonderful and truly gives from her heart.
As I see the lives that this organization bless is inspiring to me and our company. So many times we see our lives as we are or in a better position than where we are at the present. It's not often we think, "what if that woman holding that sign was me, or that man sleeping under the bridge or that is my child searching the trash can for his next meal." Most of us are one or two paychecks away from any of these situations. I so admire Lorri for doing her part in helping those that aren't able to help themselves for whatever reason. Her love and compassion makes we want to do more so I will be doing my part to support The Calvin Stennis Foundation and share with others to do the same.
The Calvin Stennis Foundation is a great non-profit organization started by Lorri and Randy Brown. They are a fantastic husband and wife team. This idea was started to help the less fortunate within the state of Georgia, specifically in the city of Atlanta. They support all people, especially military veterans, which I am. Clothing, meals, blankets and all types of things have been issues to the homeless. God bless this organization.

She makes sure that information is available for people that needs it. Most of all Lorrie goes out herself and feed and cloth the homeless. Once people in distress are identified, they offer assistance without judgement. I have known Lorri Brown for over 7 years and Randy Brown for about 4 years and since knowing the two, they have been very passionate about helping others. I have seen firsthand in Lorri's office where she would pay people's rent, take up food donations and pass out to the homeless, give up her last to make sure the homeless did not go without. She has paid for rooms for families in need at extended stays in Roswell as well as Duluth, she has bought groceries for people who did not have anything to eat, she has furnished entire apartments for women coming out of prison to have a 2nd chance, and she works with people to have a better tomorrow. They both go over and beyond to make sure that people are being treated fairly and have what their basic needs are. I have witnessed her buying christmas gifts for families who had no idea where Christmas would come from; I have seen her personally purchase shoes for kids at schools whose parents could not afford too; I have seen her be in a line at a Walmart and see a senior citizen and tell them she will pay for their purchases and God bless them; she has a heart of gold as well as her husband Randy and there is nothing this woman has not or will not do for anyone. If you took a survey, you would find that Lorri Brown has helped someone in some kind of way more than the average millionaire does. This woman is truly a woman of God seeking only God's approval and love for the things she does for others. Kids and Seniors, she has a great passion for them, anyone on the streets, oh she is giving to them instantly. Even though she was raised with money, you would never know it because she does not even come off to you as if she had everything in life, she is very modest and just wants the best for everyone. She has provided my family on several occasions with rent money, light bill money, phone money, car break down money, groceries in the house money, my child getting stuck on the bus money, and the list goes on and on. I am praying that this year, someone will really notice her, she is not a Oprah or a Tyler or a NeNe Leakes type of person, but a person with a heart, that really really cares and will give her last. Her desire is to have a building to house homeless people, please someone give her the desires of her heart, give them both their BUILDINGS so that they can show the world what real love and compassion for God's people really is all about.
I applaud Lorri for her dedication to her cause! On one of the coldest day of the year, Lorri was out distributing coats to the less fortunate. Lorri continues to be an inspiration in our community. I am honored to call her "my friend".
The Calvin Stennis Foundation in Georgia has been giving out healthy meals, clothing, blankets, socks to the homeless citizens including children in downtown Atlanta. Founded by Lorri and Randy Brown, this husband and wife team has put everything else on hold and has been focusing diligently on getting these people stabilized. Many of their family members have been assisting them weekly with the distribution.

I believe that Lorri and Randy are doing God's work. Isaiah 58:7 says: Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Throughout the Bible we are told to help our fellow man. Some of us want to do things to help, but Lorri and Randy are doing something to help! That's why I support them. I know I am suppose to help, but my way at this time is by donating when I can.
I know the things Lorri and Randy do help many people ,they feed people who otherwise would have nothing to eat ,they help these people to find shelter and clothing,blankets and etc. to keep them warm .I have known them both for a very long time and they help others by committing themselves to talk of the Lord and how people can change with hope,faith and belief .I know many times I have seen pictures of time and energy the whole family has used to make dreams come true for others thru prayer and faith in the Lord . It is wonderful to watch their true dedication in the work they do . The help they receive from their children and grand children to pass out food and clothing is truly the work of the Lord . Never have I ever heard a complaint ,for these special people care alot for others in their community . I hope they will continue to help wherever the help is needed and have the resources to do this with .
It's great to see such a positive motivating force that's reaching out to those in need. I have been blessed to be a blessing to others through the Calvin Stennis CDC Inc; I feel this is an amazing organization that is Christ centered and allowing their blessings to flow to those in need. With so much going on in the world, it's great knowing there are those who are taking care of their neighborhoods and communities.
Glory to God for such a wonderful vessel of helping our economy of homeless and needy. What makes this organization so unique are the willing vessels operating with and in excellence not only does this couple love the Lord they are true examples of logical living sacrifices. They are operating within Gods most favorite design covenant order..now that something to shout about! A threefold ministry at hand. I know first hand as well as have experienced the blessings of this organization. I have asked on behalf of, single parents, homeless, less fortunate, you name it! The Calvin Stennis CDC Foundation has provided and networked, partnered and collaborated to nourish, provided needs for the health welfare and safe being for several communities at large.
Great organization; genuine people who are geared at giving back to the community. It really warmed my heart to see the organization out in 19 degree weather feeding the homeless and passing out the cutest throw blankets. They are setting the standard for others to also step up to the plate to kill the homeless and hunger issues right here in our own back yard of Atlanta and the surrounding cities. Thank you personally to Lorri one of the organizers who goes non stop to secure the necessary donations for the group! You are amazing; job well done.

My family ad I went through a bad time and lost everything we had, we became homeless and was living on the streets. We begin noticing this same bunch of people daily coming to feed the homeless people on the streets and one day they asked our names and got our phone number. they begin calling us to see what kind of work we could do, and Mr. Randy quickly connected my husband with a pastor that helped my husband get a job and us off the streets. Through a two week period, we were fed, clothed, and prayed over from Randy and Lorri Brown of Calvin Stennis CDC Inc. They will go over and beyond to help anyone in need and we love them and appreciate everything that they have done for us.
