I've had the incredible opportunity to serve as a founding board member for this tremendous organization. To say that observing first-hand the selfless, dedicated, tireless efforts of its founder and brain trust, Linda Driscoll, has been awe-inspiring is a gross understatement. Her understanding of what was needed - yet missing - to support predominantly urban, low income girls and young women live more productive, healthier lifestyles and obtain enriching educational and social experiences is matched only by her brains and brawn to secure funding and partnerships to deliver those programs and services. More than 3,500 girls and young ladies have benefited to date...and Linda is only just getting started. That's such a great thing for so many! Dream Big has come up Big for the Boston Slammers. They have helped many girls able to participate in Baseball for All's national tournament. This would not be a possibility without their help. We are grateful for their help each and every year.

Coaching young women athletes is fulfilling on it's own, but it makes a huge difference to have the necessary equipment & athletic attire, that alone changes the game. Having the support of Dream Big! & Linda has been instrumental to our team. My girls to feel confident on the field; Dream Big! is truly a blessing.
In addition to providing athletic attire & sports equipment, last month Dream Big! sent 10 softball players & 2 coaches to Fenway for a Red Sox game. All is can say is WOW! Dream Big has been a literal game changer for our female student athletes for years now, at my school and many others across the greater Boston area. Where resources are hard to come by and funding remains slim, Dream Big provides—sportswear, sneakers, cleats, warm up jerseys, balls and other gear to give our youth more of a shot in an ever-competitive landscape of our kids’ secondary schools. Moreover, Linda and the Dream Big team arrange inspiring annual conferences that connect our young athletes to top scholar athletes from similar backgrounds, along with decorated and committed coaches and entrepreneurs. Dream Big! is an amazing nonprofit and has helped my students and sports teams time and time again! Words cannot truly express the gratitude that myself, my students, and my players have for Dream Big! Just to list a few of the donations and equipment we have received from Dream Big!: basketball hoops, volleyballs, sweatshirts, Pickleball equipment, basketballs, sneakers, etc... We are grateful to Dream Big! and all that it has given to my school community and the City of Boston!
To be quite honest with you if it was not for Dream big we would not have been able to fullfill our girls volleyball and Softball teams. We are an inner city school that has to rely on participants budget, Which means families have to pay for participation. For three years it dropped participation rates by 38% in both sports. Dream big came thru immediately with much needed assistance with sports gear. The needed athletic gear kept us afloat( and still does) for those seasons. Without Dream Big here in Boston, the school would have had to drop two girls programs.
Dream Big! have partnered with us at MTC Educate A Girl Inc to support girls' sports participation in rural parts of Africa. Dream Big! have consistently understood our unique situation and needs as a non-profit that deliberately works in and for girls in rural parts of Zimbabwe where so huge hurdles pose challenges to coordinating our programs. We are genuinely grateful for the support we continue to receive from Dream Big!
Dream Big has helped our female athletes MANY times over the years. Most recently, they provided our JV girl's volleyball team with brand new (much needed) uniforms! We are so thankful for everything Dream Big has done for our girls!!

I have been blessed with Dream Big in several ways. This program has helped so many of our players have access to sport attire that we just cant afford. Dream Big! Donated brand new poms for our cheerleading team. This season we needed new poms. The poms we were using before were in poor condition to begin with. Then, they got ruined in a flood over the summer.
Dream Big! Came to the rescue and we are extremely grateful for their generosity and support!
Having 3 very active and athletic girls showed me the importance of sports in their lives. We need to appreciate more the life long skills and experiences that playing sports has on lives. Dream Big is one big dream. We found about dream big from the Boston Athletic Association. Dream big not only help us with our facility cost but encourage and motivate 80 girls in our program to continue with the sport Track and Field.
Dream Big! has made a tremendous impact in my life. I am currently a Registered Nurse and a former athlete. Dream Big! paid for my first ever basketball camp out of state and helped me purchase my books throughout college. If it wasn't for sports I don't think I would be where I am today. Dream big was a blessing to find this year. First they came on my radar when they fully funded s donors choose for my middle school girls basketball team in Roxbury MA. The supplies helped give the girls what they simply deserve but don’t always have access too. New basketball balls, practice pennies ect. Then secondly this past month they held an amazing event the girls got to attend. The even feature strong successful women in many fields that showed how sports shaped them in many ways. We need more programs like this for our young women!

Dream Big is literally a season saver, and without them the TechBoston Bears would not have a home volleyball court.
In 2013, Dream Big rewarded TechBoston with $10,000 worth of work that went into the TechBoston Academy gymnasium, including the addition of a new net system, the installation of a referee stand, and the addition of pole sleeves.
The generosity of Dream Big cannot be understated; as they have allowed TechBoston to give these young ladies professional equipment to practice and play games with. They have been a huge supporter of all of our athletic programs, and we as a school and community are lucky to have them as partners.
Continuous donations of practice balls, knee pads, and more has allowed all girls to play volleyball when not all of the students have the means to purchase equipment necessary to play the game. Dream Big has done more than just help TechBoston; they have changed the way our student athletes look at themselves.

I want to personally thank the Dream Big organization for supporting me on my journey through college. I struggled with managing my money. College is expensive, affording books, printing etc. The help that Dream Big provided me is what pushed me through college. Of course I can not for get the amazing sports gear that this organization provided for me. Please continue to support women in sports throughout the country and from all backgrounds. You're making a huge difference and the impact is blossoming. Thank you so much for all of the support for myself but more importantly for the generation of strong women who are coming after me.
Linda Driscoll and The Dream Big nonprofit have made the Boston Latin Academy Girls' Indoor & Outdoor Track Teams incredibly successful through their consistent support. My athletes have received training shoes, racing spikes, and training gear over the past years. For the majority of these girls, this equipment has not only made their participation possible, but I've seen how this has instilled confidence and enthusiasm in their character.
We have been so fortunate to have had lacrosse projects funded thanks to the generosity of Dream Big! The support that Dream Big! has given has helped provide sticks, balls, cones, pinnies, and nets to allow over 100 girls (so far!) in the city of Malden the opportunity to learn and advance their skills in the sport of lacrosse. Many of these girls haven't played sports in the past, or haven't found a sport that has interested them. It's great to fill that void and give these young girls confidence and excitement about a team sport and physical activity.
I'm currently running a clinic that has brought in many new faces, but also several repeat participants. The Malden High School Girls Lacrosse team will start to see the benefits of this outreach and growth of the game in our city next season. The high school girls also get to give back to the community through volunteering at these clinics.
I am lucky to be able to reach so many children in the community through teaching and coaching and as a high school coach, I've wanted to grow the game of lacrosse to younger students. Dream Big! has helped make this possible and made a big impact on the girls of Malden.
There is not enough space in this box to even begin to share the stories about the impact The Dream Big Foundation has had on our student-athletes, families, staff and our Boston Showstoppers organization as a whole.
Dream Big is helping to positively affect the climate and conversation around erradicating the financial barriers keeping girls out the "game" Barriers that are disproportionately effecting Black, Brown and other girls of color.

Dream Big! has a real impact on under-served girls in East Boston and surrounding communities. Over the past several years, Dream Big! has donated soccer equipment to girls participating in Soccer Without Borders, many of whom are participating on their first ever sports team. The donations of soccer uniforms, shin guards, cleats, and socks not only make it possible for the girls to compete in their soccer league, but also inspire a sense of pride and make them feel like valued participants in our program. Dream Big! is a tremendous asset to Soccer Without Borders, helping us realize our mission of overcoming barriers to participation in sports for under-served youth, especially for girls.
Dream Big! has been a wonderful, generous and thoughtful supporter of Soccer Without Borders Boston for years. At major milestones of our girls' program, the first time our middle school girls team played in a formal league (2014) and then the launch of a high school girls team (2017), Dream Big! has been there to provide uniforms for our female participants as they took the field for the first time. These uniforms, screen-printed with the program's logo, provide the girls with pride and confidence as they step onto the field, representing themselves, their families and their communities. Girls in SWB Boston are first-time athletes from newcomer households in East Boston. Playing their first ever games in these uniform sets makes the girls excited to reach these new milestones. The Dream Big! team, particularly Linda, is always a pleasure to work with- committed to getting girls in the game and to authentically supporting local programs.
We have so many wonderful pictures to share of the gifts of equipment we've received. This net was such a valuable addition to our team We do not have the facility to host our practices and we often practice in the parking lot because we have 1 gym we share w the baseball team and the basketball team.
Dream Big is amazing. Through this non-profit and through private donors, I was able to acquire new softball equipment for my team. Previously, we were using old and damaged equipment, which did not give the girls any protection. Additionally, there was very little pride when wearing the faulty and old equipment. My players are now walking out onto the field with pride. I have had a shift in focus and intent, since receiving the equipment. My team experienced their first win of the season, just yesterday and the girls were so excited! Thank you for supporting my cause and for having such an amazing organization.
I am a student Athlete a part of Dream Big! Being a part of dream big has been one of the best experiences. For starters Dream Big! is always there for me. When I am in need of attire to play sports Dream Big! provides me with the equipment I need. Not only has Dream Big! provided my team and I with attire Dream Big! also provided my team with program scholarships to be able to participate in college showcases giving kids from the city a chance to perform in front of college coaches. The program also helped me personally by awarding me with a scholarship for college and an SAT class. This program works to help so many young girls and I can truly say I was impacted by Dream Big!
The Rope Burners Double Dutch team serves girls from low income families that live Boston. The girls learn how to jump, compete , and the importance of teamwork. Thanks to Dream Big has provided us with uniforms, sneakers,travel bags and ropes. I don't know where or team would be. Thanks Dream Big !

I work for The Boston International High School, we service a community in which 80% of our students are from lower income homes almost 100% percent of our students are new migrants ranging from five years to literally one residence in the US. Dream Big was able to assist our ladies softball team buying gloves, balls and batting weights all of which my students could not afford our simply would not be allowed to buy due to cultural values from within their homes. I have been working with Dream Big for two years. They have been absolutely essential in providing my girls with what they need. We have been given socks, softballs, gloves, sport bras - all more than my most of my students' families would be able to easily get on their own. Linda at Dream Big is amazing. If it were not for Dream Big my girls on the softball team would not have enough gloves or helmets to play this year. Dream Big's dedication to serving the inner city schools here in Boston is an absolute necessity. Dream Big gives young women a chance to join a team and learn how truly valuable sport's are in shaping a young person's life. Some of my biggest life lessons were learned through sports and my coaches. It is truly an honor to be able to pass down my experiences with my players. I went to pick up some equipment from Linda in the beginning of the season and when I got there we noticed some of the equipment would not fit and immediately Linda jumped in the car and brought me to a local sporting goods store and purchased what I needed. Dream Big has been a tremendous asset to the Boston Community, In particular young girls in one of the most underserved towns, Roxbury. Over the past year Dream Big has made it possible for organization such as MYCW, to get young girls off the sideline and into the game. Young women are beginning to build self confidence through participation in athletic activities, and being exposed to positive women who serve as mentors. We all know that participating in sports, when done right, helps develop character, leadership skills, and resiliency. Dream Big! made it possible for our team to have a regulation volleyball system/net. We were often cited for the condition of our old net and not allowed to play in our home gym. We are able to meet state requirements and play in front of our student body and family! The girls were elated about the donation as was I! We are more than greatly appreciative!
Dream Big came through big time for our basketball program. Three girls who were running around with casual sneakers now have real basketball sneakers. It has made them feel more like athletes. Can't thank them enough!!!
First and Foremost I can't express how blessed and grateful I am in to meet Linda Driscoll and the Dream Big staff. As a first year Cross Country Coach, once the weather started getting cold this past fall, I need to address proper running apparel for my girls team. Dream Big was the game changer, provided my girls the necessary apparel to compete and train in. Dream Big! helped my girls volleyball team at a Title 1 school excel this year. We were able to complete funding for new volleyballs, game day socks, and kneepads with their assistance. Gone are the days that players had to share kneepads after games! The mission of Dream Big! is a very honorable one, and we cannot thank them enough for their contribution to our team.
I cannot thank Dream Big enough for what they have done to our girls basketball program at the Ohrenberger School in West Roxbury. Linda Driscoll has gone above and beyond for my team over the past few years. She provided my girls with brand new uniforms and water bottles. When I gave the girls their uniforms for the first time, their eyes lit up and they were so excited for the next game to wear them and show them off. Not only were my girls positively impacted by this donation, but I, myself, was blessed to have begun this journey with such a wonderful and influential nonprofit such as Dream Big.
My Girls Soccer team received Cleats, Sports bras, and athletic Bags to use. This made a huge difference for the girls that did no have the money to buy cleats or sports bras to play soccer which was a huge barrier. The girls are very thankful for their help!
Dream Big! helped me as a first time coach get the equipment my girls needed who were coming from mostly low in-come homes and could not afford it themselves. These girls were able to play and feel good about themselves while doing so. As a team, all of the girls looked amazing on the field and that look, I think, boosted their confidence allowing them to play their best. Girls really care about how they look, and that does affect their performance. I think what Dream Big! did for our team was something that was so necessary. Dream Big! gave my team the opportunity to play soccer, feel good about themselves as young women, and understand that there are people in this world who do want to help.
DreamBig! continues to impact more and more girls each year. Keeping girls active gives them the confidence to continue to do well in school, stay healthy, and become future leaders. Linda's heart is so big! She will stop at nothing to ensure that every girls' need is fulfilled. It has been an honor to be a part of such a great organization.

As a teacher in an urban school, Dream Big! has stepped up to help make our physical education program a success. Linda and her team not only supported my classroom once, but twice. The kindness provided helped create great healthy habits in my students, a gift they now bring to their community!
linda is amazing, and really made 40 teenage girls love life for a day! She went out of her way to make sure we had the resources we needed to attend cheerleading competition at Six Flags and took a lot of time out of her own schedule to talk with me and offer support. it's refreshing to find a group so dedicated to athleticism for young girls!

Working with girls from the inner city (South Bronx) has been difficult and very challenging due to lack of sports funding. Dream Big was that miracle that gave my girls the opportunity to play. Linda and Dream Big were able to provide my scholar-athletes batting gloves, composite bats, pitching machine balls and practice softballs. We felt extremely fortunate and were able to parlay these items into a successful season. Our girls were very exited putting on their batting gloves and hearing the distinct crack of a their composite bat as they sprayed line drives all over softball field. Thank you Linda and Dream Big!
As the Track & Field Coach at Boston Latin Academy, I can honestly say that Linda Driscoll and Dream Big! were instrumental in our team's success this past year. Forty female athletes received Asics Gel Lyte training shoes at the start of the season. Most of these athletes were training in casual canvas sneakers without support before this, and were unable to purchase a real running shoe on their own. Linda's organization made a significant difference in that it increased the athletes' confidence as well as performance over the course of the season. THANK YOU to both Linda Driscoll and DreamBig!
Linda Driscoll and Dream Big! helped me continue a girls high school hockey program by donating brand new goalie equipment! This will facilitate in the recruitment process of goalies in the future.

Linda Driscoll and Dream Big! helped jump start Beyond Soccer, the organize I run in Lawrence, MA. In late 2010, we were in desperate need of equipment/supplies for our first girls travel soccer team, the Wolves. She quickly answered our call. Since her initial 2010 visit north (I still have the photo of Linda with the girls on my wall), Linda and Dream Big! have been supporting, encouraging and providing important mentoring and leadership opportunities for our middle and high school girls, most recently through the 4th Annual Leadership Conference at UMass Boston. Dream Big! has enabled us to reach so many deserving low-income girls through the sport of soccer. We would not be where we are today without partners like Dream Big! and visionaries with big hearts like Linda Driscoll.
Linda Driscoll reached out to our organization during the Women's Final Four that was held in Nashville, TN. Through a partnership with Dream Big foundation & the NCAA they were able to donate equipment to our organization that will help us achieve our goal of teaching young student athletes the game of basketball and life skills. Dream BIg provided Nashville Youth Basketball Association with many basketballs, ball racks, coolers, water bottles, and more! The contribution was a great boost to our program and is utilized daily. Dream Big was even able to provide about 10 young female athletes with tickets to the NCAA Women's Championship game, which I am sure will be something they remember the rest of their lives.
I coach high school track with students that have low income households. Linda Driscoll and dream big allowed our students to compete with everyone else. They provided us with the opportunity to succeed in a situation where our students would have failed in the past. With your help out girls finished #2 in the city of boston, the highest finish in school history. Thank you Dream Big
Linda Driscoll and Dream Big have been fabulous to Beantown Jumpers Double Dutch team. The support has been so helpful . Linda has generously offered to help with buying uniforms and equipment for our teams. We were offered support to pay for the registration fees for the World tournament in South Carolina last year. It is wonderful to have this support. We are very grateful.
We have Dream Big t-shirts with our Team name on them. The girls and I wear them proudly when we perform at various venues. We recently performed at the DB Annual Gala at Fenway Park. We have performed at this event each year. It has been a great place to feature our team. We are reenergized by the crowd and their positive affirmations for us. Thank you for giving us this opportunity.

I joined Dream Big! first as the Board President and have continued my service as a member of the board. This organization is unique in many ways, however one of the driving forces of Dream Big! is that it is led by those who believe and represent the mission and vision of dreaming bigger for a brighter future. I've been a part of other organizations in the past that had some elements of Dream Big! but I love that they offer NEW sports equipment to those girls in need. I remember when I was a young athlete and one of my favorite memories was going to the store with my dad to pick out new cleats for my soccer season. Not everyone has the means or are as fortunate to have brand new sports equipment, or even any type of equipment. And there is absolutely no reason why a child should be told they can not participate in sports because of where they come from, or because a parent has to choose to put dinner on the table for their family instead of buying a basketball. Dream Big! provides opportunities where they did not exist previously. And it's these opportunities that allow young girls to continue to Dream Big for themselves.
The Rope Burners Double Dutch team has been very fortunate to receive all of the tremendous support that Linda Driscoll and Dream Big has given to us. We have received 100 % of our equipment and T shirts from Dream Big. She has also sponsored the teams that qualified for the ADDL national tournament so that they were able to compete. I am truly thankful for Linda and Dream Big.

I was excited to work with Dream Big! as part of the 2013 Boston Marathon team. From the beginning, Linda was helpful and supportive. Dream Big!'s specific purpose of providing sports equipment, scholarships and support for girls in athletics is clear and makes a huge impact.

I joined Dream Big! as a board member because I share Linda's belief in the power of athletics. We both believe that participation in physical activity can transform a kid's life; be it organized sports or physical education. And no caregiver should have to choose between paying a bill and buying equipment for their daughter to play a sport. Linda works nonstop to make sure that girls from low income and homeless situations get the opportunities that many of us take for granted. Dream Big! has made a huge impact on the community in just a few years. I am privileged to be a part of the organization.
I had the great opportunity to receive the Dream Big! Scholarship the summer of my junior year. I was able to attend a week-long basketball summer camp, Point Guard College in Pennsylvania. All expenses paid, including the flight there and back. I would have never experienced what it truly takes to be a basketball player if it wasn't for Dream Big! PGC consisted of constant daily drills, as well as class lectures. This experience was life changing because I not only learned basketball skills, but also eating habits that I still carry on until this point. I'm grateful for my experience and for Dream Big! I believe Dream Big! is an extraordinary nonprofit organization! As a sophomore now in college, I maintain my connections with Dream Big! and volunteer at their events.
Dream Big has had a tremendous impact on the girls of the Boston Showstoppers. Dream Big has allowed the young women do things and experience things in life, that they never would have potentially been able to do. For instance, Dream Big gave the girls the privilege of attending as well as play upon the Boston Celtics floor, sent girls from the inner city to prestigious basketball camps and provided adequate supplies for the girls to excel academically. For this we here with the Boston Showstoppers will forever be grateful.
Last year an angel fell out of the sky and landed on my shoulder, it was Dream Big!. When Dream Big!'s CEO saw my request on Donor's Choose, about building a volleyball court for our Dorchester team she contacted me and asked what we needed. A week later she came in saw the condition of our court which consisted of roll away cement base polls that did not allow us to host any home games, she said she was going to help. A year later we have a proper Jaypro Net System, a referee stand, a ball cart and even new volleyballs. Last week we hosted our first home, it was amazing. The girls have never had fans before and couldn't believe how many people showed up. It was an amazing sight that only made our school community stronger. Now we have so many students coming out for the team that next year we will have an official JV team. We owe it all to them.
I'm involved in a youth sports foundation that also works with under-served girls. DreamBig! steps in and provides the equipment most young athletes in the suburbs take for granted. DreamBig! is doing much more than leveling the playing field. It builds the playing field.
Witnessing and supporting the development of Dream Big has been a most rewarding experience. Critical to one's commitment to financially contribute to a nonprofit organization is knowing that the dollars are linked directly to its mission. That is absolutely the case with Dream Big! The founder's vision for Dream Big, to provide support for girls to learn and participate in sports in the Greater Boston area, was developed and is being executed with amazing success! In just three short years, Dream Big! has impacted over 3500 girls. I am proud to be among those that has helped advance the mission!

Dream Big is puting dollars to work quickly for kids who really need support to get involved in sports, which has such a positive impact on their lives.
